do you use forward p/e ratio for the regression analysis or the most current p/e ratio?

ОтветитьIs the regression analysis just to see if the P/E for a given stock fits the general trend line? It seems natural that an undervalued stock would have a lower P/E than the trend line, and vice versa. Is that why you perform that analysis--to see if the P/E is an outlier or not w/r/t expected growth?
ОтветитьToday I looked at a P/E and Margin Cap and didn't feel intimidated.
Thank you for your videos
This was an informative video. It gave a lot of context to the P/E ratio. It would be even more helpful to see an example of a trade made in the past and actually calculate how long it took the company to pay the buyer back (assuming he held his shares). You could consider the P/E at the time of the trade, what external forces were at play at the time of the trade and the coming years, and then show actual earnings YoY from the date of the trade onward to track the performance. Then even grade the trade? Just a thought.
Like your content man. Keep it up.
Love it! Another great human being. Would it be possible to share your own concerns/thoughts about AI affecting macro and investing in general? Does the fair market collapse, do the economic systems still work, or should they be redefined? Thanks a lot, mate.❤❤

honestly curious what you think about a company like palantir. I just can't see any reasonable way it gets enough revenue growth to justify it's price
ОтветитьThank you so much dude! You really interested me in economics and I learnt so much form your videos. Keep it up!

Ответитьhey there, great work on the videos. is there a site that shows these PE to 5yr CGAR graphs by sector?
Ответитьtom nash said p/e ratio not important
ОтветитьHi, great video. A normal misconception is that r^2 is the correlation, it is not. Normally Pearsons correlation coefficient is denoted by simply r. R^2 is used to measure the causality between the dependent and independent variable, I.e how certain we are that the correlation between these variables is because of the independent, it basically explains the variation. Besides that I’d like to thank you for your time and your insights, it’s a bliss to watch and learn!
ОтветитьI wonder how this strategy would work on backtests. Thanks for the vid.

ОтветитьThoughts on lateraling to IB?
ОтветитьHi, i just stumbled upon this channel and would like to say your content are very informative and entertaining, I'm still very new to stock trading and I am just curious on what stocks do you think are good to invest in this economy. Cheers!
Ответитьcurious if you are a quant or PM from a HF? :)
ОтветитьWhere would you get accurate company data to do that type of analysis? I mainly use Bollinger Band Width, RSI and volume. Most I do is read the most recent SEC filling to make sure there's nothing strange going on and the stock is more likely to follow the patterns.
ОтветитьFirst!!
