If you ever decide that Vietnam is where you would like to settle down for awhile consider becoming English Teachers. You can get one year visas and renew each year. That's what I do and I absolutely love it here. I have lived in Ha Long Bay for 5 years now and for me, this is home. I'm kind of ruined now because when I finally go back to America one day, I'll be glad to get back home to the land of the Free and the Brave, but the memories I have made here will haunt me forever. I will always consider Ha Long my favorite home.

Thank you for the sharing your top five. I am Vietnamese living in the US and I haven’t been to Ha Noi, Ha Long Bay, and Sapa. I will definitely visit next time I go to Vietnam after watching your video. If you ever return to Vietnam definitely check out the Floating market in Can Tho City. I heard Dalat is also very nice. Nha Trang, Phu Quoc islands are very popular as well.

The French colonialized (subjugated) the Vietnamese for over 100 years. They thought so little of them, they never bothered to learn to speak vietnamese.

I've been to Saigon, Hoi An, Halong Bay and DaNang. I liked them all, but I could actually imagine living in DaNang.

How can you not go up to Fansipan peak while in Sa pa? That's the jewel of the Sa pa!! Up there, you see things money can't buy. Like going to Halong and not doing the cruise. Fansipan cable car is 10 times cheaper than Halong cruise. 99 per cent of the visitors, foreign or local go to Sa pa to visit Fansipan and the villages, for views and culture. Ninh Binh is even better than Ha long Bay. What a miss for this one too.

There are some other Cities, Places or Beaches you should visit whenever you are in Vietnam, Da Lat and Da Nang City, Nha Trang city with a beautiful beach, also Phu Quoc Island, Can Tho city....
Next time you should get a VISA for ̉ months, if you go back to Vietnam...
