Very effective. That torque steer was crazy at first !
I believe that Spitfires used to have some offset rudder built in for takeoff's.
The bloke below who suggested string on a wing has an interesting idea perhaps, to see if it will bring itself up into a flying position in flight. It would then be very similar to indoor 'round the pole'.

I had one that my dad bought from Walmart but when he turned it on it was to close to the wall then it hit it and shattered into like a hundred pieces and I was actually kind of sad

I had one my dad got me in the 80s it had a propeller in front and back . Hours of fun trying to stop it flying with out cutting fingers lol

Very neat. I had one similar as a kid... about 1970-1971. It was a small jet. I do not remember the string placement but I know the prop system was at the rear. It was not as fast but would fly decent circles. All you had to do to stop was let it hit your hand and grab the plane before it could get going again. Also, it was 2 speed-- low and high. Loved that toy. Thanks for sharing.
