Just really don't like the iPhone yellow cast, And no this isn't natural warmth, it's too yellow. Especially skin tones. Shocked how iPhone tends to oversaturate too.

Pixels Ultra HDR is something else too!

I'm a huge pixel fan and have had a lot of pixel phones and before that nexus
However, as a creator, I don't want the extra hassle of uploading to the cloud, waiting on the processing and then downloading it again before being able to publish something, it seems like a lot of wasted time. I can't believe I'm saying it, but for the first time ever I'm thinking about the iPhone over the pixel, plus being able to shoot in log in a big bonus

Despite the pixel having improved a lot...Overall I still prefer the iphone, it excells in most situations, where the pixel sometimes get it right and others simply don't. I agree on the saturared look of the iPhone...But sometimes it looks great to be honest. It also dependes of personal preference I guess. Design wise... iPhone is the sexier to me. Pixel is also amazing...choices!

I did not notice in your video if you set the resolution to 50mp on the Pixel? Its default is 12. You have to change it in the Pro setting. You should compare the 2 and see if there is a noticeable difference

I think both look great and I have a preference over the pixel
I hope the pixel can maintain that quality when uploading in social media

Iphone has more cinematic style in photos that are more warm and contrasty. The pixel over-bright the shadows that is easy to do that with apple proraw or a change in photographic style. Iphone has more consistency in photos, better 5x, better portrait mode, better video (in any category, like 4k, 24, 30,60, pro res, selfie, cinematic mode, log etc) and it has over all the best smartphone camera system in the world right now! And 24mp native!

Had the Pixle pro for 2 days, damn phone. The camera is terrible in the dark, the flash light is weak and yellow in color. A lot of flickering during video. The mobile feels cheap when you hold it, a lot of sharp edges and ill-fitting aluminum frame. Screenshot images flicker.. Media volume turns on max strength even if I adjust the volume down. Also annoying these Google things that Google will push on me, first free, then pay, mafia is the right thing here. Returns the crap, and starts my Samsung S21 plus.

Thank you for the Video. Question, which one would you recommend for 'Events Videography' in terms of 'capturing music, dancing, experiences between people and Editing it all after to create amazing music videos?' Would it be the Google Pixel, Iphone 15, latest Samsung or another smart phone? Look forward to your wisdom.

How much will you use all the fancy new tricks on pixel 8pro...probably never

The P8P/P8P does have a strange softening going on .. like some overly aggressive software texture blending. If I can describe it, it's artificially decent at best.

I've been a pixel user for years and have always preferred it's photo philosophy (natural colors, not over-sharpening, focus on dynamic range) over the iPhone. I don't have the 8, but in most reviews I've noticed a couple of problems: strange out-of-focus areas in otherwise focused shots, shadow noise even at low ISO in good lighting, and softness at 100% zoom. The first two are the most concerning. I know there are a few blogs that have covered these issues, and Google has responded to at least one of them (shadow noise) that they are working on a software patch. Hopefully all of these issues can be addressed at some point.

I don't think this is a matter of which phone to go with based on the camera performance since both cameras are respectable it's more of which ecosystem you prefer is it Android or iOS? Most people will not switch from an iPhone to an Android and vice versa based on the camera performance since we are at a place where all cameras are good enough. I think if you are n iOS user you are sticking with iOS, but if you are an Android user then it's better to compare with other Android phones and not Apple when it comes to choosing...

My biggest gripe with pixel phones is the screen mirroring capabilities, it sucks you need a Chromecast or a tv with built in chromecast.

Images and video on the overhyped Pixel 8 Not-So-Pro looks so overprocessed. It's almost as embarrassing as Google trying to block people from seeing the hyped Tensor G3 benchmarks that even the 4-year-old iPhone 12's A14 Bionic shames. 💯🤭😂

Pixel wins as long as you don't record videos with digital zoom (iPhone does better digital zoom), and other modes like fake blur.

I would buy a Pixel over an iPhone due to the AI plus I love Android too much to change. iPhones still lack customisation options and that home screen hasn't changed enough to me from the iPhone 3GS days 🫣

I would go for the Google Pixel 8 Pro as the camera system and Magic Editing AI are unbeatable. With the Pixel 8 Pro, I am sure one could get even better results from adjusting the ISO, shutter speed, and so on.

The iphone is amazing but i cant bring myself to spend that amount on any phone lol
