ОтветитьI think The Green Jobs Answer Man and Kamala Harris studied under the same rhetoric master.
ОтветитьWe all Need a GREEN 💚 Future!!!
ОтветитьExcellent voice character work. He’s sooo funny
ОтветитьOh my goodness! These videos just now starting popping up in my feed. I had no idea Andrew Klavan had this older material out here! These are hilarious! He is SO funny! I'm thoroughly enjoying this rabbit hole! 🤣
Ответить2022 still relevant
ОтветитьGreen energy will make energy expensive
ОтветитьGREEN
Ответитьvery smart
ОтветитьHahahahahaha! "Gone with the Wind".....
ОтветитьThis is hysterical. How did I miss this for 10 years.
ОтветитьGreen jobs are green indeed... as in the greens that power them... xD . Cheers!
ОтветитьThanks. I was wondering where that $2.5 billion went.
ОтветитьThis was hilarious. Sad but hilarious.
ОтветитьFunny. Klavan was wrong after all these years.
ОтветитьI can't stop laughing omg
ОтветитьWhere are these green jobs
ОтветитьMarvin the Martian has a nice new job!
Ответить9 years later, just as hilarious. And true.
ОтветитьIt's not easy being green.
ОтветитьGreen is obviously very bad. It has two E's! 😯
ОтветитьK l a v a n there are no es in klavan
ОтветитьKinda shifty...lol
ОтветитьIf we could see the wind it would be green. Hahahahahaha🤣🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьIndustrial jobs used to produce all those windmills and solar panels aren't green at all: they produce tons of environmental contaminants. Luckily, almost all of that is done off-shore, in places like China. Of course, they get the benefit of all those jobs, and the pollution they generate poisons the earth, but environmentalists don't have to think about that.
ОтветитьThis is so good!
ОтветитьVery Funny!!!
ОтветитьExcept green energy and regulations are necessary to fight climate change
ОтветитьI need a list of Green Jobs and what people can do?
ОтветитьAll the proof we need to know that we should go nuclear instead. Thorium reactors anyone?
ОтветитьOh come on you've gotta do more on the solar part. Like 10,000 arguments were left without rebuttal on that one lol
Ответитьhooray for green ecconomy: drill more oil to build green jobs hhhhhh =) I blame the republicans too
ОтветитьHahaha
Ответить"They" cut down trees JUST to put up Solar panels (look it up I'm too lazy to do your research) ...
Ответитьmy first year of college was for engineering - with an alternative energy major. Until I found this out: all the students the college had just put through their program - didn't get hired. the companies that said they would hire from the college's pool of grads Didn't hire. So I jumped off that sinking ship and switched to mechanical with no harm done and no money wasted.
ОтветитьWhy the low-rez?
Ответить"I will pass that information along." Laughing my ass off!
ОтветитьI've been to west Tezas and seen the windmills which stretch to the horizon as far as the eye can see on both sides of the highway as you drive by. Having worked 25 years as an electrical power facility system designer, I wonder what the payback ( amount of time a system must operate to pay for the initial costs, plus continuing to maintain the system ) in years is. A ballpark estimate tells me there is no payback, as costs to create and maintain the beasts never goes away. In fact, you must pay and pay and never recover the costs, even if the bank were to finance at no interest. I didn't see any birds, though... oh well, I suppose if they were oil derricks, gas would be affordable and America would be prosperus, but how can you sell socialism if you did that? The mind just boggles...
ОтветитьBuilding and then destroying straw persons is funny...for 3 year olds. More serious discussion of how we integrate more green tech with what we have is much smarter and, more enlightened. Pretending we don't impact on the environment is stupid, and trying to mitigate that makes sense. The market problem is the natural unwillingness for companies to shift to new, initially more expensive tech that replaces cheaper, but environmentally unfriendly practises. The impact is immediate and goes straight to bottom lines and whacks quarterly earnings. In the face of such market failure, smart government intervention is needed. Even Adam Smith recognised that.
ОтветитьThis is not a straw man
person a has position X
person B presents Y which is a distorted version of X
Then attacks Y
There for x is false.
Unfortunately while this is comical it is not a true straw man just mockery combined with facts that pro green jobs people ignore because they are inconvenient
I am about to die from laughter, he is the funniest guy to come along in years!!!!!!! Thanks Klavan!!!!
ОтветитьA#1
Ответитьlord Monckton had the best answer to global warming...."buy a pair of shorts"
ОтветитьWow! You really beat the stuffing out of that straw-man. Whatever will people with an IQ over 59 do now?
ОтветитьYou're the guy that sits at parties with a confused look on your face any time someone tells a halfway clever joke.
ОтветитьA straw man is a misrepresentation of an opponents position. Advocates of green energy would never be this dumb. I have never heard an environmentalist this unintelligent. "what is a green job?" "a green job is a job that is green." < clear strawman
