i used to play this many years ago as a kid and never finished since it was hard for me

I’ve always wanted to like mega man because it seems so cool, but the controls and punishment for not being as precise as they want you to be has always left a sour taste in my mouth and in return I end up realizing it isn’t worth playing through this pixelated nonsense just to get a mediocre story and sub par gameplay.

After killing that monkey guy, i went to the teleporter and went to neo arcadia place, so i basically skipped the whole leviathan fight. And also i somehow skipped that ice lookin yeti and also harpuia's battle by dying in his level and losing all my lives then coming back to ciel. So yeah.... Idrk if that was supposed to happen

I love the intro to this game it shows how much of a threat the enemy is and just how powerful X and Zero really are. As groups of there your allies fall to even just a couple of what are they called pantheons? Ya those things. But then zero powers up and takes on army’s of them on his own a great way of showing instead of telling the player how strong they are in universe.

I thought I'd played or watched all the Mega Man games, but just discovered this. Good stuff w/Zero, Ciel, & X's copy.
Funny how a saber upgrade message can appear in a boss fight. And Cyber Elves. 😉
Enjoyed the mission choices & bosses. Impressive gameplay. 🙂

Ngl due to a corrupted save file I lost all my progress right before the end of the game (neo arcadia 2) and I really needed to know what happened so this really helped

Coming fresh from X1 to X4, I found Zero 1 the hardest so far. Copy X Phase 2 gives you so little room for error compared to other Mega Man final bosses. If you can't ace Phase 1, then you basically die in 1 hit which he can do anyway.
It absolutely sucks ass that you have to re-do so much of the stage and dialogue and Phase 1 just to get 3 seconds to learn Phase 2's finicky attacks.

I thought the X SNES games were hard when I first played but holy SHIT, this one's a different breed

I know that this game is difficult amd has a lot of problems but do i care? No. The nostalgia makes me want to make a retrospective video on it. Such a good game

One of the stupid games ever exist in our childhood.
You can't crotch to dodge, you can't shoot up & down, you can't even climb properly.

The only reason people still playing it is just out of design and gameplay and this was their childhood game.
The rest are just nothing but crap.
