I 100% get why they cut this scene, but holy shit it was perfectly made to make you feel disgusted and uncomfortable.

While it is still an awful act for characters with clearly human emotions and thought processes, I fail to see how this is “madness”, more so just “lust”

I'm glad that this wasn't in the movie. It really makes Scar seem less than capable. I find him much more compelling when he's focused on acquiring power.
