Full game longplay of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction, action-shooter game (not stealth, let's be real sadface.jpg), fifth main game in the series, on highest possible Realistic difficulty. Xbox 360 version, played on Xbox Series S, therefore the game was enhanced to something akin to 1200p, still locked to 30 fps though. Recorded in 1440p.

There are some problems with video freezing, somewhere between 0:35:00 and 0:39:00, apologies.

Eh, the black sheep of the family. The only one, where full frontal assault is a good strategy and the player is rewarded for it. I tried to play as stealthily as I can, to kind of preserve it's great predecessors' spirit. After all, it is still a Splinter Cell, just think of it as Absolution in Hitman series. Devs just... went nuts about doing something "different", and actually managed to create a game that is somehow well-playing when forgetting about the whole Splinter Cell stuff (hehe). But the mark & execute system is just a total crap and just looks good on the trailers/gameplays. Buuuuuuut, I still enjoyed it on the highest difficulty, since the AI is easily tricked, and it went smooth for the most part. Story is there, and explains some things, like Lambert :( and confirms which Double Agent choices were canonical. Soooo, it is essential to every Splinter Cell fan story-wise, whether you like or not. But I would understand if not. Trust me. :))

Private military company Black Arrow interrogates Sam Fisher’s former Navy SEAL squadmate Victor Coste, who begins to recount the events of the last few days.

After quitting Third Echelon, Fisher heads to Valletta, Malta, to investigate rumors that the hit-and-run death of his daughter, Sarah, might not have been an accident. Suddenly, Anna "Grim" Grímsdóttir, Sam's former colleague, contacts him and warns him of an imminent attack by a group of hitmen. Sam neutralizes them and goes after their contractor, Kobin, who was the true culprit behind Sarah's death. He infiltrates Kobin's mansion, kills his guards, and begins to interrogate him, but a Third Echelon Splinter Cell team subdues him before he can extract anything useful.

Grim and Black Arrow bring Sam to Price Airfield in Virginia, where they are to interrogate him. However, Grim releases Sam, revealing that she is working undercover for U.S. President Patricia Caldwell, investigating suspicious circumstances concerning Director Reed, Black Arrow, and the stolen Russian EMP technology. She reveals that Sarah is still alive. (which was thought to be untrue in Double Agent)
