I enjoyed the movie. Although I do remember when it came out it was a movie people either loved or hated. I think it was a movie that suffered from the hype after a while. Some people had their expectations super high they were disappointed. Probably a lot of younger people look at it that way, too.

We had to go see Blair Witch in the theaters because everyone was saying people were running out getting sick. Come to find out it was only people with motion sickness that we're getting sick not due to gore. But that was a new Spectrum for movies. Nothing else like it and it made my hair stand up on my arms the whole time especially when you see the house with the handprints on the wall and Mike standing in the corner

AWESOME JOB on this one ADAM !! I LOVED " The BLAIR WITCH PROJECT " !! Growing up in Maryland in the 1970's made it personal to our family. I moved to Arizona 32 years ago. My Brother came down here about the time when this Film was out on DVD. We all sat in my 7.2 THX Theatre Room and played this without interuption ! EPIC Time, we picked up bits and pieces throughout the film. One of our friends that was with us was a Criminologist. He laid out his thought after the ending. EPIC, and that made the film more realistic for us. This Cast did an AMAZING JOB on the Budget they had ! Hey, Proof, you don't need a Million Dollar Special Effects Budget to make a GREAT MOVIE ! 😊

I was 30 when Blair Witch came out. I was camping in Moab, Utah. It was hot and we went to the movie theater and watched the movie. It was a big deal at that time.

I enjoyed the movie, to me it was and still is a creepy movie. I live in Maryland but unfortunately the house at the end of the movie has long been demolished..

I was 13 years old when bwp came out, and I thought it was legit found footage. I thought the whole thing was very frightening.

I remember I ate some mushrooms and watched in a theater. The really trippy part is I was all alone in the theater. It was a matinee show a few weeks after it had been out already. It was scary but fun

The original film is great but so is the mythology created around it. The Elly Kedward and Rustin Parr stories are so damn creepy and deserved to made into films instead of that awful sequel (Book of Shadows)... and the horrendous 2016 remake.

I remember the craze from the time, but have never seen the movie 🎬 I really need to check it out! 😀

From what I have read the cast members each received a payment of $300,000 after the film was a success. That's a pretty darn good paycheck in 1999 money.

Remember I was graduating High School and all they hype about it being real... whole bunch of us wanted to have a Senior Trip to Maryland thinking to explore the woods. We'd be fine with a large enough group XD

In October of 1994 three student filmmakers went into the woods and disappeared. A year later their footage was found and used as an excuse by Hollywood not to spend money on horror movie budgets or flesh out monsters ever again.

I remember the hype when I was in highschool here in the Netherlands, everybody was talking about it... I have the movie on VHS 📼 and DVD📀... I still enjoy it! It was a great time! 👍

I saw it in the limited release in Santa Monica. Marilyn Manson and Rose McGowan were sitting next to us.

There was a time in 2000s where filmmakers were inspired to make lost footage movies.

I saw this advertised in my local newspaper that it was showing at the Ritz Five in Philly….at the time it was a low key theater that didn’t show the big movies…..after watching it I legit thought it was real until it went mainstream.

I visited the house back years ago near Gaithersburg MD.

I was young when I watched BWP and remember at the end not knowing what happened and that being the scariest part. To me it redefined the horror cut and paste format.

Here in MD they had a weekend camping excursion thru the area they filmed the movie. We spent the day in Burkittsville and the next camping. We had a great time.
Such a shame the actors didnt get what they were worth. I hope they are given what they are asking.

Adam this is amazing!!!! Blair Witch is THE movie that make me a horror fan. I absolutely loved it, have the DVD, Blu ray, have seen it around 100 times. Is so so awesome of you offering your platform to help the cast be heard

every Halloween I make Blair Witch "symbols" and hang them from my trees!! It was my one of my first dates with my Husband!!

We totally bought into Blair Witch. My girlfriend at the time and wife now were living in Orlando and working at Universal Studios at the time. You did have to be there for it to make the impact it did! Now we live just a few hours from where ot was filmed. Love the video bro! Love all your video's! Keep em coming!

Massive respect to the people in Blair Witch who created an iconic horror film and story. I watched Blair Witch for the first time about 10 years ago when I was in my early 20 and I was definitely creeped out. I LOVED IT. They did so good and I hope they feel super proud of themselves. ♥

I totally agree that you either love it or hate it. In my opinion, before watching you have to be primed into thinking it's real to enjoy the film to its full extent, which is hard nowadays.
