45Ibs is a hefty good amount of weight brother. Most of us don't even used weighted pull-ups so you're actually doing very well. Your physique is great too.

ОтветитьGreat work! Weighted pull ups are awesome. I'm currently doing 5x5 with 10kg. A year ago I tried to progress too quickly ( from 0 to 25kg in a month) and injured my supraspinatus.

Ответить1rm for me currently is 60kg which translates to 130lbs, I think. Gonna shot for 70kg and then get back to skill work.
Ответить9 months ago I couldn’t even do 2reps of 50lb weighted pull-ups, fast forward 9 months I can do 3reps of 85lb weighted pull-ups @ 170lbs.

ОтветитьI dont do weighted pull up since 2 month ago. Last record of my weighted pull ups is 22kg for 10reps x3. Hufft a need now my power going down after didnt do weighted pull ups. Last week i do 15 kg for 10 reps x 10 sets. My height is 166cm and bb 61 Kg
ОтветитьI can do weighted dips with 25kg for 7-8 clean reps for 5 sets. But only around like 10-12.5 kg for pull ups/chin ups for around 4-6 clean reps for 5 sets. I feel like I'm very imbalanced in terms of my pushing and pulling strength ratio haha. Btw, you're very strong man. Keep it up!

ОтветитьI’m progressing to almost 70lbs of weight (I weigh about 184lbs) and it feels like I’m flying when I do regular pull ups lol. This also helps me progress to do my front lever which is my ultimate goal.

Ответитьim 75kg, and i love doing weighted pulll ups, it gives me such a rush knowing its pretty hard to do it when you have shit pulling you down, my max is 60kg 1 rep and 40kg 6 reps

ОтветитьMy current best is 90 pounds for 5 reps on the weighted chinup (at 160 bodyweight, so 250 pounds total). I don't train weighted pullups as seriously out of personal preference, I usually save them for some extra volume after weighted chinups.
