Was the snake dead? Was it placed there - gift or distraction or just nature? I’ve hiked and had garter snakes slither off trail into undergrowth twice in 30 years. We have rattlesnakes but it’s rare to find one dead on a trail or path. She sounded like a sweet girl whose grown into a nice person. Glad Little Red Riding Hood made it home safe and sound.

The world doesn't accept us or receive our true story very well at all. I struggled with my own encounter for years. Was I crazy? Did I really see and hear what my eyes and ears were showing me? I was sick for 3 days and I layed in my bed trying to sleep because I thought when I woke up it would all just be a bad dream. Ironic how so many people including myself believe in a God without ever actually seeing a God but a thousand people can have a encounter with these creatures and their stories are hard to believe.

I know it may sound wrong,..but,i was young,in NC mts, I played guitar in the campground,the night before. A heavy rain,on a Sun night,and,this kid,had no job,til Tues. I awoke to a completely empty campground. i had dug a trench around my tent. ppl left me kind notes,on my windshield. ( Thx). I went hiking, and it was when the forest went completely silent,i knew something wasn't right,in the woods. Long story,it never threatened me,it was more of a reddish colored ciat,but,like the woman said,a human like face. I had no weapon, other than a knife on my belt,my dad gave me,w/ a deer antler handle. Honestly, I've been around some evil ppl,and,ppl who have hearts that would hurt others. It knew,i was just being cool,and, probably heard me too,the night before. I packed slowly, watching it's position,and,it was more timud,when it knew i was using my perifial vision,to trick it. It was all cool,i wouldn't underestimate them,tho.
