I think the claim about the victim being a predator is most likely a lie. Outside of the community, many “well behaved” people don’t understand the concept of cross-dressers or why they do it. If he were assaulting women then I think it would’ve been reported like wildfire. like, “a man is dressing as a woman to gain the trust of women to assaulting them, everyone be careful!” The daughter definitely used this to her advantage.

My theory is that Runa was always sick and twisted but the parents spoiled her to her to the point that she felt she needed them alongside for literally everything. Just as their family relative said, “they drowned her in love”. the only reason she went to the club was to meet her victim and the only reason her dad was there was to watch over her. to me, it’s clear that the whole thing was premeditated. the wig and cleanup was just her trying to prove that if she wanted, she could get away with it… But her leaving the body is almost like her saying “I am leaving this here for someone to find”. if she took the head she could’ve taken the body… she definitely just wanted a “trophy”. Runa most likely told her dad her plans and got his “permission”. How could he say no to his precious daughter? Which is also why he was on watch, he was paranoid, trying to see if any police came by. because if the neighbors were so observant, wouldn’t they have noticed a strange man coming by their home or any kind of altercation between the family and the strange man? i do think possible that she wasn’t 100% honest with her parents; she could have lied to them about why she “needed” to get revenge. but in the end, both parents are at fault (esp the dad) for neglecting Runa’s mental health needs.

First time I feel stephine is BIASED in a case, Stephanie's attempt to avoid appearing "transphobic" led in my opinion to an overly favorable portrayal of the victim. it's also important to acknowledge when certain actions or behaviors may be problematic, he could have been an imperfect victim. there are suspicions that the victim was unfaithful to his wife. The way she described him as someone just "having fun, cutting loose, making friends, such a social butterfly" rubbed me off . there have been reports suggesting that this man lured people while cross-dressing as a woman, and he was banned from certain clubs due to alleged sexual assault. The fact that even his friends have spoken about his inappropriate behavior lends credibility to these claims in my opinoin and it shouldnt be just ignored. The descriptions of this man in her story appeared unusually lenient, possibly an attempt to avoid insensitivity to issues related to cross-dressing and to dismiss the notion that he may have exploited women.

relating to the theories I think that it does not have to be only one or the other, I mean we may never get answers behind her motive but both theories of alleged sexual assult and the girl having mental problems could work together, just an assumption because the theories are all dark and confusing and I wish we get a clear answer one day

I don’t know, I think it was the first. I know we love going for the more salacious theory but I think he was probably harassing the girl.

Here’s what I think:
She thought the guy was actually a woman, so she followed him to the motel where she was assaulted, he then decided to black mail and harass her. Then her dad (who sounds like he had a really sick attachment to her), helped her come up with a plan to kill him. The reason why she was cleaning up the crime scene is either because she wanted to dismember the body couldn’t go through with it and tried to do what she could. She then went to the night club to establish an alibi.

Japan has a huge culture with shame, chances are if the murder victim did the same thing to another girl they probably stayed quiet out of a twisted sense of guilt.

My theory is that the dad saw bad signs in his daughter but tried to disregard them or sweep them under the rug to protect his daughter. He probably thought if he kept an eye on her, nothing bad could happen which is why he was watching over her in the club.
The only thing that seems off is why would an overprotective father knowingly bring his daughter to a dangerous situation like killing someone.

Theres a very big difference between being allowed to wear somehthing and what decides what something is seen as. Feminine clothing is deemed feminine because the majority of woman prefer that style of clothing in that region same goes for masculine clothing. If you really want to do it in public on moving transportation just go to NYC & go to the very last car at night. This paints DID as some dangerous disorder and makes people think that DID systems will hurt you when this is not the case at all, everyone with DID I've ever met has been so sweet. My theory:
I think it is a mixture of theories. I think Roona was initially really into Toshi and became obsessed with him (like Yandere) because she lacks social skills. I think Roona continuously tried to get Toshi’s attention, and that Toshi was like “no, I have a wife and family. This isn’t meant to be a serious thing.” I think she got really upset and went to mommy and daddy and lied to her parents about Toshi assaulting her, and lied and said that he would be outside of the house. Making her parents believe her more. This would explain why the father would sit outside the home.
I think her dad felt guilty because he knew that Roona had a lot of issues and ignored it the entire time. I think he knew after the fact and didn't turn her in because he was at fault on multiple levels. As a parent he failed to get her the help she needed. As a psychologist he failed her because he went against Medical policies that medical staff cannot care for their relatives BY ANY MEANS because social biases of the family member.
