Why celebrity couples always break up

I was super surprised that you guys only recently got civil parnterships for straight couple. Where I am it's been around since the seventies, my parents have always called each other their partner. Very conscious choice on their part not to get married. So it's been normal all my life and then pedantic discussions on this are just very.... weird I guess?

I would also guess that the high rates of divorce in the 1930's and 1940's could be because people were more likely to get married before having sex, AND studies show that women with their own money (how else would a woman make money back then?) are more likely to get divorced, because they don't have to stay for financial reasons.

The part about female celebrities being with non-famous people reminded me a bit about queens (like literal queens, not the figurative kind).

Prince-consorts often struggle with the fact that their wife has a higher position than them. After all, the wife of a king is a queen, but the husband of a queen-regnant is not a king.

Both Prince Albert and Prince Philip struggled with this. That being said, spouses of monarchs often struggle as they have to live for the country.

Historically, Prince-consorts have struggled more than Princess-consorts due to the masculine and conservative nature of aristocrats (a man being subservient to a woman was looked down upon). Tabloids (and the application of celebrity culture on royal families) have made the lives of queen-consorts harder.

It's a combination of a bunch of things.
We perceive celebrities differently. When you only hear about someone’s relationship every once in a while and you’re not living it, years can seem like no time at all. Celebrity break-ups/divorces have their own sections in the news.
No one is constantly broadcasting a relationship you had 5 years ago that lasted for 3 months. Normal people go out, break up, and move on.
Celebrities have the freedom to move on and get married quickly. Money and child custody are nonissues if they're rich enough.

I just looked up Keanu Reeves "date that was his age" that he received praise for. Alexandra Grant has been his girlfriend for years now and she's nine years younger, she just chooses to look her age, which I think is super cool and it's honestly mind-boggling how society pretends that women are ugly hags when they turn 35 , except of course for the ones who do everything to appear younger. She's beautiful and confident, the things those two have said about each other have also been just really sweet and appreciative. They've also been together for years before the Oscar date that made the relationship public. Sorry, I just came back from a deep dive 😂

I just found out yesterday that my cousin and her partner have been married to other people for 10 YEARS! None of them could afford the divorce, so they have just been legally married to people they don't even talk to anymore. My Mom was able to afford to get them the divorces everyone wanted. Crazy

I've been using wild for some time so here's an honest review: it's a natural deodorant, so no, it's not AS protective as the unhealthy ones. With this said, is by far the most protective out of the healthy ones I've used, and I've tried many. I also have very sensitive skin that gets or rushes with aggressive deodorants or bumps if it doesn't transpire enough. Had no problems with wild. Also it "stains" back clothes but just wash it and it goes away.

Look at their acting career. Having to partake in movie projects, especially if it's romance genres and working with another actor or actress, partaking in these erotic scenes. Even if they had to remain professional, you're still technically cheating on your real spouse for doing that. So it's no wonder why there's so many martial problems with these celebrities.

In France, civil partnerships were introduced for same-sex and hetero couples at the same time. I don't think any married couple have ever divorced to get a civil partnership - they're just two different things. Civil partnerships are easier to get and break, and give less protection than marriage when it comes to inheritance laws between spouses, so they're often regarded as a first step before an eventual wedding down the line. (Especially since gay marriage is legal, that's one way civil partnerships have stayed relevant.)

Celebrities often change partners like underwear. Have kids. No devotion or trying to make it work. It's easier to just move on to another glamorous partner. Why even get married? Feel so sorry for the children.
