Ответитьif my history proves me right or otherwise, the Filipino-American war was back in the late 19th century. This house was built in 1925. So I think this house served as a hospital back in the Japanese Occupation.
ОтветитьAng galing naman ng Iloilo.
ОтветитьWow. Ang ganda! Sayang hindi xa narestore. Sana makavisit minsan, since may relatives kami jan
ОтветитьGaling imagine while watching nasa harapan ako ng mansion nila🥺♥️ sobrang luma na but nakaka amaze. this is my dream i love old house 🤍

ОтветитьWow! What a waste of beauty! Sayang!
ОтветитьSeems someone currently lives there and who ?
Ответитьhindi man lang to na maintained bakit? yung jaro municipality mismo walang ginawa na e preserve ito???
ОтветитьAs an Ilonggo in every mansion sorrounds iloilo city has its own story to tell according to my parents and ancestors, if you will listen to their stories, you will be amazed how these family lived and lifestyle during their time, And to those who may not know, Jaro fiesta they have a choosen Queen, that come from the clan of the prominent family in Jaro, The mansions and other buildings, can tell how Iloilo have rich cultures and grandeur from the past, upto now, this mansions was taking care of our city as a tourist destination and cannot be touch by anyone even buyers who can afford because its reminds our history then.
Ответитьmedjo madilim po at hnd ma basa yong tinatype nyo
ОтветитьThis is appalling how the inside of the house is left in such awful mess with rags and paper just hung carelessly over the elegantly carved wood of the stair ballusters.
The beautiful life size statue of the Blessed Virgin as the Immaculate Conception should have been showcased more beautifully.
The manor is grand and stunning on the outside but inside it is in squalor. This should have been at least kept clean. It is heartbreaking.
Whoever live in that house made it a squatter.
ОтветитьWow so lucky here in San Fernando Pampanga because all heritage houses are well maintained
ОтветитьThe Queen of the South will Rise🤗Where King Solomon got its Gold🤫The Land of Ophir 🤗
ОтветитьThe son was famous during the 90's. My late uncle always watch their show performing here in Iloilo City night life scene.
ОтветитьThis is unacceptable it is very sad IloIIo historical landmarks which never again to built the same architectural structures landscape designed very seldom to see in other place. The local government have something to do to restore this historic site we know all the fact that Mansion heritage owned by private properties but the LGU must suppose to be involve the restoration. Ilongo must be proud of it. One of kind.. Moment later years by years more to come it will deteriorate and will never the same again remember history doesn't repeats it self, but it often rhymes.
ОтветитьHopefully marestored back to its original beauty. This kind of treasures are our history. . .
Ответитьwow did they abandon it and left it all behind ?
ОтветитьPSST, I CAN TELL YOU A SECRET, UNDER THE MAIN ENTRANCE DOOR IS IN HEAVY CONCRETE THE SPANISH GOLD AND A TUNNEL FROM THE MANSION TO THE JARO POLICE STATION.
ОтветитьFilipino American war was at the beggining of the XX century and the house was built in the 20s... something here doesnt match
ОтветитьRemembering during my second year high in De Paul College Jaro. I miss you Ilo- Ilo
ОтветитьVery sad to see that the mansion is fast decaying! This kind of heritage should be saved by local govt to preserve its antiquity and the history of the rich and famous of Iloilo!
ОтветитьBasuraaaaa!!...ang gua ..wla na history nlng ang ga istar nga pamilya ...gn imu rumbuhaaan..haay nkuu..
ОтветитьNapabayaan n pati mga antiques sa loob nawala n Wala n mga gamit pero halatang maganda ung bahay.
ОтветитьIt would be better to get rid of the recording filter in videos like these. I'm just saying, I feel like I'm playing Outlast all over again.
ОтветитьThis is just heartbreaking to see. Me, my aunt, and a few relatives, visited Iloilo a few years ago, and we had the most amazing time. We saw plenty of mansions, some are being restored and some are left to decay. What I love about Iloilo is the rich history and esp the people. One of the nicest I've encountered. And even when you are in the city, you are not stressed nor pressured bc there is basically no traffic. So worth the trip! I remember when SM restored the Molo Mansion, I said to myself, I hope someone would do the same for the other mansions left. Just looking at the ornate carvings, wood panelling and wooden floors here, this would probably cost millions just to restore and recreate. This house speaks old world charm. If I were a millionaire, I would certainly buy this and restore it. I could care less about the cost bc the house is a real treasure on its own. I miss Iloilo so much and I hope I get to visit sometime soon.
ОтветитьMas lalo makikita ang ganda nito pag nalinis
ОтветитьCuriosity closed! Huhuhu I cried. Please please this heritage mansion. So beautiful and priceless.
ОтветитьSoon laag ko dnha puhon 🥰
ОтветитьWow nice sharing.
Ответитьmore of this please! especially sa underground sng Iloilo National High School tani if possible? Awesome video! Keep it up!
ОтветитьWow na feature ang ilonggo's pride... proud Ilonggo here
ОтветитьIf this mansion was built in 1925, it could not have been used as a hospital during the Filipino-American War which was from 1899-1902 or close to that period.
ОтветитьSa wakas naka pasok na rin hihi
ОтветитьIpa restore na lang po Sana ng city government, tapos gawin tourist attraction
ОтветитьHalin gd sng pagkabata ko bala curious gd ako sa balay nga ini, kada labay ko galantaw gd ako kun anu ayhan iya sulod lalo na sa gkalat nga my underground kunu lusot sa lain2 nga lugar man diri sa iloilo whehe. Thank you gd sa pagtour heheh.
ОтветитьVery haunting place you can feel the spirits around the mansion
ОтветитьHi, Kuya Val Happy Valentine,
ОтветитьI ve seen this from outside when i went to Ilo ilo for a tour so sad that a beautiful structure such as this is now neglected - i hope the LGU will restore it as a cultural site
