Hello i have just bought the canon pro 200 and have a question about the paper for panoramic photo's because i saw the Canson infinity paper but it's only to get in rol BARYTA PHOTOGRAPHIQUE II MAT 310 GR/M² - ROL 17" X 15,24M but i think this is not working for the canon 200 so can you give me advise what paper is the best for panoramic photo's on the canon 200 printer ? and you can buy this also in the netherlands ! Thanks
btw i like your video's
I love the Pro 1000, it's print and build quality is superb. However, unfortunately the sheer quantity of ink it wastes put me right off and made me go Epson. While the cartridges for the Pro 1000 are the biggest out there, and would have sold me the printer, it uses too much of the ink on maintenance (even when the printer is in regular use). If it was printing constantly, all day every day, the timed cleans would become negligible, but when only printing a small number of prints per week, it makes a massive difference.
ОтветитьIm having issues with "cant detect image size" and paper jam while starting to print pano on pro 1000. Ive been using the printer for years on all sizes and the best paper.. but still cant get the paper to load in correctly for Pano , any ideas?
ОтветитьCan you recommend a smaller panorama paper?
ОтветитьAdam, love the video. Couple of questions for you, 1). How often do you print using your Canon? and 2). Do you make your prints in a batch to save setup time or ?
Thanks again for your informative video!
Brilliant.. Thank you Adam
ОтветитьGreat Video, Is the border not equal in every side?
Can you tell us about the paper and being , as it seams in the last moments of the video, not parallel to the print? Why and how can we prevent that to happen?
And what paper do y use Adam?
ОтветитьI'm very interested in buying a printer, but my wife and I just don't have the room for one for now. We have one of the pixma tiny printers which we love, but right now still send out our prints to a print house. I really love the idea of being able to gift pictures - I can only imagine that some of our friends would love a high-quality print of their children etc...
One day... One day...
I was just telling my wife that I needed to slowdown when I'm taking photos. I recently shot a few panoramas, but I'm lazy and did them all handheld. Normally this works without any problems, however I found more than one that were essentially ruined because of 1 or 2 images that showed some obvious camera shake. It was very disappointing, however I did get a few that came out just fine. Definitely needing to remember to use a tripod and take my time instead of feeling rushed.
I definitely need to play with using my 70-200 for shooting panos - great tip. Also wanting to see about getting them printed as it's probably been over 10 years since I had one printed.
Thanks for sharing your workflow.
Honestly, I never considered using a 70-200 rather than my 24-70, but it really makes a lot of sense. Thanks, Adam!!
ОтветитьWhich lens collar are you using for your 70-200 F4L? I'm thinking of getting one myself specifically to shoot panorama images as seen in this video.
ОтветитьI have this printer, buth you need spesial equipment to print so long pictures, and you do not show that
ОтветитьHi, thanks for all your good and informative content🙂 I have a question about photo gear, hope you have some tips. I am looking for a laptop good for edit photos, but not extreme expencive, do you have some tips?
And also tips about mirrorless camera that might could help expand my photo skills? Thanks if you have some ideas 🙂🙂
Hi Adam, This was very much needed with all the horrors that are going on in the world right now. Thank you!
ОтветитьThis is brilliant. Does the paper you used come in long sheets, or in rolls that you have to cut?
ОтветитьA good watch, would be interested to know how the costs work out to print something like that, paper ink etc
ОтветитьI dunno really. I love doing panos. But I feel its only useful for zooming in to elements and make them huge. Otherwise panos are kinda useless. You end up with a huge spaces with no real subjects and no real leading lines. Boring.
ОтветитьGreat video. Also set a fixed white balance to ensure consistency - can always change in post processing.
ОтветитьBrilliant, lots of helpful information for printing and taking a pano. Thank you Adam.
ОтветитьThanks for uploading, some sound advice.😊😊😊
ОтветитьA picture isn't a photograph, until it's printed!!
ОтветитьThanks Adam from Ottawa Canada.
ОтветитьWhere did you get your roll paper flattener? It did a great job. Both the panos were spectacular. Large prints always look great. Framing is a pain though.
ОтветитьHello. How can I get that paper for panoramic photos?
ОтветитьI have made a lot of panoramas, and still got some great tips here. I will now be more conscious about using my longer lenses (and avoiding my wide lens). In addition to fixed focus, iso, aperture, shutter speed, do you recommend avoiding auto white balance?
ОтветитьBeautiful work Adam 😊
ОтветитьDon’t forget to advise people to make sure their ink is full. No fun running out half way through a large print.
ОтветитьThe 2 images were stunning Adam and I have my Pro 1000 up and running as watching your videos and use of the Pro 1000 convinced me to move up from thr Pro 10s. Just need to get paper for pano printing so will definitely check out the Canson as i want to get my black amd white fine art image of canary wharf printed and hung in my room
