Im already 14 and have cystic fibrosis. My dad is 6'3 and started puberty around 13 and a bit. Im a size 9 shoe size though. Im probably just delayed

Im a 7th garder, and ever since i was at 2nd or 3rd grade i felt alone because i was hairy and taller than my classmates, until 5th grade hit and my classmates went through puberty and i did not feel alone anymore, by 6th grade i still felt something was off tough, and right now, in 7th grade, most of my classmates are 1,70cm, 1,60cm (wich i think its like 5”4 and 5”5) and i am at sad 1,47cm (4”9 or something), and everyone thinks i am a 5th grader now

I'm 17 going on 18 and a very late bloomer, having hit puberty at 14 going on 15, when all of my male peers already sounded like grown men. (I live in the UK) My voice has always been high, but it become noticably deeper in summer last year, though it's still kinda high and hasn't "dropped" or "broke" yet. I'm about 5'10" and I am noticing some small hairs on my cheeks and chin, as well as a faint moustache and some hair on my legs and quite a bit of pubic hair. There are also times my voice cracks, and it's been this way since around December 2022, to the point I feel my voice could break at any time now. I look very young for my age though and am often told I look 14 or so, or that I look like I'm in year 10/9th grade, so I often feel my voice won't break too soon. I've been bullied for being a late bloomer and it greatly affected my mental health at one point, to the point I still worry I'll still be bullied. Ik this is tl;dr but I wanted to share my experience as not enough people are recognised for this. Hope y'all are enjoying yourselves for who you are no matter what. :))

I started puberty when I was seven but didn’t get my period until I was nine. I am maturing much fast than even of my siblings or peers. My doctor says that sixteen is when puberty would be most ferocious but I feel like Im done with it already.

For all my late bloomers out there!! Im a 9th grader right now, im 15, 5'3 1/2, a voice of a 8 year old girl and a belly but not to big of a belly and average size arms. You arent alone!! Our time will come and if you are being bullied for being tiny and short, just wait, you will either be looking over that asshole or eye to eye.

Why does everyone say that if you're tall early, you'll stop growing??? I was was tall early I'm like 5'10 for a 7th grader but my dad is 6'0 and my mom is 5'11

2. Can u still grow after u have a full beard (I'm just asking I don't have it yet)

Mine started at 12 and 7 months (almost 13) and I'm 15 now. And the process is a lot slower than most people and I haven't seen much differences ( aside from public hair) or haven't really hit the growth spurt yet. As a female should I be concerned? As I want to grow taller than 5"6 and my parents are around 5"7 and 5"2. I'm only 5"1.5 and I haven't had major changes.

Listen up all of you. Nobody cares if you're short. Nobody here knows when or if you'll get a growth spurt. Try worrying about the homeless or world hunger or something that actually matters.

If always been 1 of the taller guys my entire life, although i wouldn't say am that crazy tall. My mom is 170 cm (5.5 ft) and my dad is 189 cm (6.2 ft). I got my last noticeable growth spurt when i was 13 and i grew like 11 centimeters in a year. Am 15 now turning 16 in around 2 months and ever since that last growth spurt i haven't grown that much, maybe like 4-5 centimeter maximumm. Rn am 182-183 cm (6 ft) and my puberty is still going strong. Curious how i will turn out since my dad got a MASSIVE growth spurt when he was around 16-17 so maybe I'll be growing even more.

It's great being 5'2 at 15 years old with no muscle, barely any hair on my body and the voice that of a little girl. How nice.

In Grade 7 I was 4,11 now i’m grade 9 and I’m 5,5 or 5,4

people who hit puberty late get way longer growth spurts being at least 3 years usually, sometimes even 4 years depending of genes. I hit puberty at almost age 14 which is in normal range but I did notice I hit puberty later than most of my peers.

When I turned 14, I had very high pitched voice and was very short at only 4 foot 11. I got pubic hair at late 13 but I didn't notice testicles enlarging until I was almost 15. Age 14 is when I broke 5 feet in late march of 2020. My bday is on December 12 2005 btw. My voice was very high pitched like people told me I sounded like a 9 year old girl. I got bullied for being very short, looking/sounding like kid in grades 7-9.

At later age 14, my voice pitch would fluctuate from high to deep to medium pitch but I. still sounded like a kid. Funny enough it only a little less than took a year for my voice to start cracking after hitting puberty. Then at age 15, I had a medium voice until late 9th grade when I was almost 15 and a half then my voice started sounding deep like a teenager. My voice has been cracking and getting way deeper since I almost turned 15, I am 16 and almost 5 months now.

I have been growing, my growth since 14th bday is, age 14, 4 foot 11, age 15, 5 foot 2, age 16, 5 foot 6, and now at age 16 and 4 months and 28-29 days, I am 5 foot 7 and a half to 5 foot 8. I am hoping to grow to at least 6 feet. I used to get bullied for being very short but now I am just around average for a boy in my grade.

My dad and grandpa grew to age 21 and hit puberty at almost 14 just like me. My dad grew to 5 foot 10 but I have longer legs than my dad, my grandpa grew to 6 feet tall and we have simular body proportions because he has longer than average legs for his height. My grandpa was 4 foot 10 when he turned 14. He graduated highschool at 5 foot 9 to 5 foot 10 and grew 2-3 inches in college.
