Hey Andrew, big fan from Brazil here. What would you say to someone who wants to get in the science field but has no academic background and have no idea where to start?
ОтветитьYou are an outstanding person Andrew - intelligent, humble, curious and humorous. All of these attributes I aspire to have in myself. Thank you for sharing such thoughtful and deep discussions with all of us. 👍👏⭐
ОтветитьLMNT new flavor I tried this morning after my CrossFit session… Lemon habanero. Was great because it’s not as sugary.

Great episode! I love them all! I was thinking the other day how interesting it would be to hear you speak with Eckhart Tolle I think he's so interesting and he has wrote some great books. Your conversation would be very gripping I'm sure.
Also, and apologies if you have already done this. Post natal depression and post natal anxiety. I'm a mom of 2 young girls and I believe my brain has changed after kids. I'm just more anxious then I was before. I'd absolutely love to hear the science behind this, and if over time our 'mom brain' ever goes away. What (if any) tools we can implement into our lives. Some women really struggle with post natal depression and it's so heartbreaking.
Thanks for all the great info!
Fascinating and thanks to the both of you. Love that you are also using the term social nourishment and connecting it to the concept of social homeostasis. We do work/have philosophies and practices around sustainable ecosystems and management that are tied to living systems and would be delighted to share if you ever want to discuss!
ОтветитьDr. Huberman will soon turn every one of us into a neuroscientist.

ОтветитьThank you Dr. Huberman, team, sponsors and supporters.☀THANK YOU DR. KAY TYE!
ОтветитьBros and sises are them. Don't blame others falsely.
ОтветитьHEY ANDY!! (Lol) Ahem... I mean, um, excuse me... Dr. Huberman? It is alleged that you read all your comments... Heh. In your wonderful conversation here (towards the middle), you talk about feeling joy for other people (in this case, the very insightful Dr. Tye). Are you familiar with the word "COMPERSION"? 🤔
It is, essentially, the exact opposite of jealousy or envy (and thus it is perhaps most well known in the polyamory world). One example might be if you are battling cancer, just as a friend is joyously having their first child, and you draw strength and happiness from their experience, despite your own suffering. A far less extreme example would be if a co-worker got a promotion instead of you, and you simply applauded them and cheered them on. Hooray for mirror neurons! How & why is it, not only as children but even as adults, we are so familiar with jealousy and envy but not compersion?? (Scarcity thinking, I guess?)
I passionately believe this is a word that can change the world ✨vastly for the better, if only more people had the concept. Of course, even without the concept, one can certainly have the experience, which you point to in this interview. But once we know the word, we can pursue that mind state normatively. It's a positive sum mentality. And one which gives back to you in the form of greater joy. 🙌
Compersion FTW! Please pass it on! Thank you for all the magnificent work that you do, not only so intelligently, but also with such palpable passion and heart. Mad props! 🤓👍🧠🔥🤍
Thank you to both Dr Andy Huberman :) as well as Dr Tye for an insightful discussion.
Please consider doing a podcast on; or including current knowledge of fascia in a future episode?
That's what's matter on Sns. Their precious right.

Set them free from 'Hunter's chorus'.
ОтветитьSo much in this conversation resonated with me both professionally and personally. Decluttrring. Such a relief. Education is moving on for sure. This podcast is testimony. Thank you @hubermanlab and Dr Tye. Knowledge shared is power multiplied.
ОтветитьTheir craziness of revealation of themselves risking every danger from strangers is more stupid than wars intruding into other's space.
ОтветитьVitamin C and zinc is good for collagen composition. Hipocracy. I told you.
ОтветитьDr Huberman - Can you do a podcast on joint hypermobility syndrome? I was diagnosed 3 years postpartum and looking to treat it with a possible combination of nutrition and supplementation. My rheumatologist said people with this condition don't produce / process collagen correctly and as a result have weak collagen. I'm dealing with all sorts of symptoms, muscle/joint pain, brain fog, gritty eyes, fatigue, balance problems. Hoping to get more resources to treat it. Thank you so much in advance. - Joanna
ОтветитьWe need her again SOON. I'd love to hear more about her thoughts on motherhood.
ОтветитьI found her very very difficult to understand. I have struggled with this guest. Then Huberman summarizes and saves her and us ;))) with his clarity and great vocabulary but unfortunately her use of the language Made this episode not enjoyable for a non native speaker as me.
Ответитьbut you always miss mark. That's the thing.
