А это не он играл Тайвина Ланистера в "Игре Престолов".:-)
ОтветитьI like "Road to Mandalay" but this version is filled to the brim with cringe
ОтветитьI miss the days when the people of the world wore their nationalism with pride. There’s a magical strength in unity and belonging and no one should feel ashamed of it.
Come ye’ wayward souls
Come and see what we have made
Glory of the world
Simplemente MAGISTRAL!.
ОтветитьMuch respect to the Lord Louis Mountbatten. A great general and inspiration.
Salute sir Albert Victor Nicholas Louis Francis Mountbatten,
Beautiful.
ОтветитьMy country is Burma, so I like this poem.
ОтветитьNice, though seems not actually singing, there is a singable version by Oley Speaks
ОтветитьI prefer the Sinatras version 🤓
ОтветитьThe man who should have been king.
ОтветитьThis dude has been killed by the IRA a bunch of times on screen, lol.
ОтветитьThe first british astronaut.
ОтветитьThere is something undeniably beautiful and courageous about what the British and Europeans did... when they went to Mandalay
ОтветитьCharles Dance has something that can’t be taught.
ОтветитьMandalay Bay shootings in Las Vegas came out 33,333 days after this was published.
ОтветитьFortunately I’m from Mandalay
ОтветитьGeneral Salute to Lord Louis Mountbatten!🎖
ОтветитьTotally out classed by Jim Davidson.
ОтветитьIs it a song ?
ОтветитьThey took our King and his family and jailed them in a house in the small village of India . I'm not a fan of our country's royal families but it still breaks my heart to hear the stories of how badly the queen wanted to go back to Mandalay where she grew up and lived her whole life . She waited for the chance to go back to Mandalay till her last breath but she never could . She and the Kind died on the stranger's land :(
ОтветитьRemember that Lord Mountbatten was Supreme Allied Commander in Southeast Asia in WWII and led the Allied campaign in Burma. These are veterans of that campaign.
Ответитьrest in pieces bozo
ОтветитьThis scene gives me chills.
ОтветитьFuck that man is good.
Previous Mountbatten actor: " loads of people preferred the first 2 season actors. I doubt the next guy will be as popular, whose replacing me by the way?"
Casting: "Charles Dance"
Oh...
This scene is so British it turned soccer into football

Ответитьcharles dance is just encapsulating in every role he plays
ОтветитьAbsolutely fantastic, Charles Dance is such a gifted Actor.
ОтветитьCharles Dance is more Mountbatten than Mountbatten himself
ОтветитьTywin was my favorite characer in GoT, and Charles dance was my favorite actor in GoT, I’m so excited to see him in The Crown since I just started watching the series
ОтветитьThis man has the most riveting voice and energy.
ОтветитьThe myth of the greatness of British imperialism. Little England I'd prefer to globalism.
ОтветитьThey sat on the front seats to witness the dusk of the last great empire.
ОтветитьThe scene shows you a deep insight into a window of the mind of the former colonial master...beautiful storytelling there
ОтветитьDo not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

ОтветитьThis man was a pedophile. Everyone knows that while serving in India he used to sexually abuse poor children mercilessly. He also abused many Irish orphans. It’s an open secret. TheCIA has a secret file on him and his wife Edwina. They have said that they were one of the most perverted couple. But the British still adore this man because these behaviors are normal for them as long as their coffers are being filled.
ОтветитьMilitary 👏
