2020 Whale Watching Documentary: A Year In My Life

Dominic, after discovering your videos for the first time tonight, I've been mesmerized while watching the years of 2020 and 2021 of your life. At times, I've had actual tears of gratitude streaming down my face. Not just gratitude to you for producing such beautiful videos, but also overwhelming gratitude to God, the Creator of Heaven and Earth. Watching them was like a worship experience for me! I'm in awe of God and all that He has made. (I've always loved animals and have a special affinity for whales.)

God tells us in His Word, to worship Him, the Creator, rather than the creatures He made "in the beginning .."

What if I were to tell you that this same Creator God, is the same One who willingly died on the cross of Calvary for your sins and mine? I want you to know that it's possible to have a personal relationship with Him, if you don't already know Him as Savior. You have such a grateful heart; and you seem to be a grateful man.

I frequently hear people say, "Oh my God!" Unfortunately, most of the time, it's not as a term of true praise, but rather it's using His name in vain, which is a violation of one of the Ten Commandments.

I truly hope that you do know God as Creator and Savior and have been born again and have become a "new creature in Christ". He certainly has blessed you with a wonderful life.

I’ve been crying from the moment this documentary started till the end. I’m not a very sensitive person. This documentary has cracked my heart wide open in the most needed way. It was like seeing proof of God. The words “thank you” are all I can muster. So, Thank You 🙏🏽

Thank you for sharing this fantastic film. My heart sank watching the whale entangled in the net. I hope this brings awareness of the consequences of man's action. These whales are so precious.

No one can overpersuade me that whales are extremely intelligent animals as humans are. Biologically, we (humans) are animals = mammals as well as whales. I mean look at their tremendous bodies, but how glorious and mindful of others they are! If they were silly fish or "unintelligent" creatures, they would kill people on a boat instantly and effortlessly, but they have never done it unlike some humans (= if I call them that way, I'm afraid) in the 20th century who had no brain, no compassion, but a great deal of violence and greediness in their darkest minds. I feel really devastated when I start thinking about that cruelty towards such gentle giants... I hope they don't hold a grudge against us. Anyway, thank you for your thorough footage of blue whales, it was a delightful thing to observe!

About the net trapping these poor whales. I am glad I am vegan and that I am not a part of this. Very beautiful footage. Wish I one day will see a whale in the wild again. Such amazing creatures. Big, calm and wise. It feels almost like they know something deep that we cant see or understand.

I watched this entire thing with a giant grin on my face. Stunning photography and narration. Your boat looks so little next to them. Lol. Humpback are my favorites but I love all marine life. I got my Master's in Biology so I could become a whale biologist. Sadly my health had other ideas. I've never seen a whale in the wild so footage like yours brings incredible joy to my soul.
