Thank you for this video. I think this might be what I have. My lips all of a sudden have become extremely dehydrated, to the point where if I do not constantly keep Aquaphor or A&D on them they are tight and turned white from dehydration. I’m going to talk to my doctor about seeing a dermatologist. Thank you again.❤

Water and petrolatum helped a lot for me! Simple, bland, and safe! Just wet your lips and apply petrolatum immediately. I use vaseline😁

I’ve been aplying aloe vera gel like 12 times a day for 5 days and mine is almost gone, along with some slight sunlight. It wasn’t a severe case, but it’s almost gone. I've tried at least 5 different things my dermatologist suggested. None got rid of it. I'm going to do what this woman did in a video and just do nothing but change my diet and see if that helps. No more stuff to on my lips and no more using topical and taking meds. Plus, I"ll have much more money in my pocket rather than throwing it away and hoping.

the ONLY thing that helped my exfoliative cheilitis was using tacrolimus ointment on my lips. it took 1 year for results to be seen so you have to stick with it.

Do this morning and night:

Wash your face with a cleanser (like cerave/cetaphil). After you wash your face, apply a thin layer of Burt’s Bees Hand Salve to your lips. then on top of that, apply tacrolimus ointment your doctor must prescribe you. I was told this by an oral & maxillofacial pathologist doctor because no dermatologists could help me.
