A Walk in my Artist Shoes | Artist Vlog | Charleston

In this vlog entry, my family and I visit Charleston, South Carolina for the first time. It was spring break, our first time doing any real traveling since COVID, and all my friends said I would love it. They were right!! Charleston, SC BURSTS with southern charm, stunning architectural detail, window boxes full of flowers, cobblestone streets and hidden alleys more.

A lot of what we saw in Charleston SC can also be seen in my hometown of Wilmington, North Carolina, like horse and carriage rides. But Charleston SC takes it a step further. (Did I mention the Charleston window boxes? :) )

My hope for this artist vlog is that I can provide you with some inspiration! Maybe even inspiration for art! Art inspired by travel feels simply the best! If I can inspire you, then you inspire others, we can make the planet a better place together! 💙

My name is Nicole Roggeman, and my business is called Nicclectic. I am a coastal artist who loves to paint piers, the ocean, surfers, boats, and abstract art ideas that inspire me. While I occasionally paint with acrylics, I do consider myself to be an oil painter. Inspiration for art is all around me and I love to explore.

The idea behind this artist vlog is to show what my life is really like. Give you a walk in my artist shoes. Sure, how I paint, or what my process is, but it's more than that. It's how I'm a wife, mom artist, gardener, chef, maid, entrepreneur, marketer, friend, beach lover, traveler and much more. It's all a balancing act. I have a great life, but I work hard.
