If you think about, if they became friends again, they would have such a happy life together if the just banded together. August can suggest making an animated show/movie together. August and Drew can be animators, Drew can teach August to draw better and August can teach Drew to animate. Penny can be the writer of the show/movie. Kevin can be the humor guy of the show, helping penny with the writing. Nichole can be the musician making the sound tracks and music of the show/movie. Scarlet would be the accountant or the manager of the team and the twins can be editors or their fans.

I love coming back to creative types. It takes me back to who I was seven years ago when it came out— I was at my lowest. I was 15 in an abusive household and felt like I had no control over my life. I struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts and honestly just with finding my place in the world and as an artist, and having gotten through the rough patches, it’s a bittersweet feeling hearing this song again. This was a message I so desperately needed when I was a kid, and even though I know you’re no longer on this account, James, I hope you know that I’m so thankful to you for giving a hand to help pull me up when I didn’t even think I deserved it. Now I’m 22 and, honestly, am doing better than I ever imagined I would or could.

I wrote in a journal when I was 15 or 16 like a literal essay about how creative types was my favorite song because it helped me feel hopeful for the future and that it helped articulate feelings I struggled to put into words. I think it’s silly that I even did that, but it was for sure an outlet for me. :)

Thank you, James! And to all my friends who have made it this far since then— congratulations. I am so unbelievably proud of you. You’ve made it through some of your worst days, and you have the best ahead of you. 💖

Despite everything, this song is still just so important to me, and I relate to it. At first I couldn't figure out why it resonated with me. But after countless replays, I now know the reason as to why.
