I really love this concept, maybe have a suggestions post/video for the next version, obviously don’t announce which tests will be included.
Making a connection for a wiring circuit, crimping a connector, removing a nut/bolt with limited access, opening/closing a bleed valve.
Showing a selection of materials and asking (for example) how would you make a sawzall handle with your edc? Show the tools they would use and describe method. It’s alright having tools but can you solve problems with them?
Deduct points if they have titanium, They don’t have duct tape on them, colour matched tools, anything that has tactical in its name, anyone who says loadout who cannot prove he/she is (ex) military, pointless lanyards, fidget toys, any toys at all, patches on their pouches or bags, instantly disqualified if they say I usually carry … damn I rotated that out of my edc.
Surprised to say I could've handled every task (with the exception of the nut/bolt combo) with my typical EDC. This was very cool. But, I guess that's why we carry the things, right?
ОтветитьSucks to live in a country where the you're not even allowed to carry a knife
ОтветитьI could have gotta through the whole thing
ОтветитьDid anyone catch what size those hex bolts were?
ОтветитьSooooo Nice !!!!👍👍
ОтветитьKnipex xs, lumitop edc01, huntsman with plus scales , hamlet cigar tin full of bits and Bibury Wave clone. Would have crushed it 👍
Ответитьcooool show :)
ОтветитьNo torx
ОтветитьAnyone know what that knife is in the thumbnail????
ОтветитьI loved this, the fact that some people were missing abilities shows the power of the EDC strategy. What event was this in Utah?
ОтветитьYou better believe I'm bringing everything to defeat the table
ОтветитьAnother great show video, well done fellas!
ОтветитьI really enjoyed seeing some real-world tool usage. I am honestly surprised at how many people didn't pass this. I mean you don't have to carry much to have those basics covered. More of this!
ОтветитьThat's a oretty good test. Only real improvement would be to make the cords not frayed.
ОтветитьDaaamn this was fun!
ОтветитьEverything but the Torx drivers. This one was fun. Thanks.
ОтветитьKinipex?
ОтветитьI could literally do all of that stuff. I have a Charge + TTi in my pocket and a Wave+ in my hip pack. I carry an electronic screwdriver set primarily to tighten knives and tools. With two pliers, I can easily do the nuts and bolts.
ОтветитьI carry t6 and t8
ОтветитьDefinitely started something new! Go crazy with that idea 💡
ОтветитьBig man said “that hit my face…or almost did.” 🤦🏻♂️ Cmon bro man up
ОтветитьTorx every day!
ОтветитьWhere was this convention ? Is there anything like this in Southern California ?
ОтветитьEverybody carrying 1kg of gear on them, me with a swiss army knife and my phone🤙I'm new to the whole gadget stuff, but seems more like a flex than actual practicality😂
Ответитьme beiing at this type of events...what do you have in your pocket or backpack? Oh, yeah, let me show you: so, one knipex pliers, one knipex bolt cutter, one huntsman victorinox, one folded sau fiskars and one fislars x7... And??? That's it? Come on, something else, sow us more, because in this day we need to carry a lot of tools...oK, LET ME CHECK BETTER, oh, yeah, sure, here it is olso my flashlight and my rain jacket..
ОтветитьNice vid, now we always saw the review but not the real life use.
ОтветитьAll the blood on the board 😂👍
I pick that old man on my team for the zombie apocalypse
I carry a couple torx in my Leatherman but I think it’s time to up my game! This was awesome!
ОтветитьSo I'm watching this video with a cat in my lap and my kid next to me watching a show on TV, and I kid you not, she asks me if we can cut some ribbon off a balloon she has in her hands. I reach over to my bag on the floor which has my Leatherman Wave in it, pull out the scissors, which I have probably never used on my multi-tool, and we are able to cut the ribbon without disturbing the cat on my lap. 🤣
ОтветитьTorx and Allen keys will work on each other though the number sizes will have no meaning.
ОтветитьWatching this I kept thinking, ya I could knock this whole challenge out with my EDC.
ОтветитьWhat is the knife in the thumbnail? Please and thank you!
Ответить"He just called you Boy George" LOL!
ОтветитьLOVE that idea!!
ОтветитьAmazing fun video. And Torx everyday. I work on pc's and laptops, so I always end up needing my T's!
ОтветитьDude at the end has me slightly interested in a GOAT tool.
Ответитьper tutto bastava la leatherman, luce e penna a parte.
ОтветитьReally funny! :D
I would have been able to do them all except the wire... And so close to vicory, I would have risked a blade :D
Love it shows how much everything works
ОтветитьLoved how the last guy was the only one to complete the entire challenge!! Taylor's wife came in clutch with that idea! Props to everyone that didn't mind dulling their blades!
ОтветитьGenius, more of these please
ОтветитьMy Benchmade mini Adamas and my Victorinox Spartan Plus could've beat this challenge.
ОтветитьThe "Preparenator" could be so much better. Not to say the current iteration is bad but there is so much more you could test. Cant wait to see 2.0 in the future.
ОтветитьNot having a flashlight was a bummer 😅. I use my knife and flashlight more than any of my other edc. Brilliant test also!
ОтветитьFun personalities make for a good time!
Ответитьyou should add a caricature where the guy take its gun and shoot every test, like sam the pirate in bugs bunny !
ОтветитьCool idea
ОтветитьThat was very cool 👌👌
