I love both ronova and Arlecchino so much and I think this theory makes much sense! I love how Genshin always puts effort into small details that relate to bigger lore. The lore of this game is what makes it beautiful:) anyways amazing vid loved it !

Arlecchino definitely has some relation to renova
1- she might Renova's creation like how Rujharavata created Nahida from a branch.
2- she is a human child and Renova granted her some of her power.
3- Arlecchino might be Renova' puppet like Scaramouche.
Arlecchino design and the marks on her dress clearly related to crimson moon and to Renova, even when Arlecchino use her burst she something like ever witnessed the crimson moon.

and the community who are so obsessed with "numbers" for fatui ranking rly thought she couldnt hang with the top 3 ... yall stop, theres a reason dottore doesnt mess with the orphans

a moon-like entity with an eye on one side has been a consistent figure in all of the hoyoverse, namely associated with "finality" aka death (cocoon of finality, terminus the finality, etc). this rabbit hole has to go pretty deep.

I have a theory but maybe it’s a little too crazy
We see that the twins are the contrary, like there is an abyss sibling and a “light” sibling, my theory is that the electro twins have the help of the shadow but each sister has a different shade helping more exactly istharoth and Ronove .
Makoto has the help of istharoth the shade of life and maybe Ei will have the help of Ronova the shadow of the death.
Cause why Ei will be having a crimson moon in the eutania realm and also the one that “takes” the lives between the two sisters was Ei, so maybe Ronova will be helping Ei in the future.

My main concern with the ruler of death is that the eyes kinda remind me of Columbina in the Genshin Analog Horror video

Just a minor correction: Perinheri doesn’t state Khaenri’ah received so many Descenders that they needed an orphanage for them as it doesn’t use that word or other equivalent terms. It simply says that they had a lot of children who were not from Teyvat and such aliens aren’t necessarily considered Descenders.

Remember guys, in order for someone to be classified as a Descender they need two things:
1-Having origins from outside Teyvat a.k.a being an alien;
2-Having a will powerful enough to challenge the world.

Just being alien to Teyvat doesn’t make you a Descender, which is why there’s so few of them.

So this is why when I read Arlecchino's lore, everything was a giant death flag to me lolol. Her being connected to Ronova may actually be the reason why. Awesome lore as always, W writers.

These foreshadowings are the reason genshin is still the best till date! No other game can top Hoyo games in terms of lore and character designs!! Like, we knew Arlecchino is from crimson moon dynasty but now that we have seem Ronova, her design, pupils, glitch animation all comes together! And people still think they can compare Genshin to some other ope world game from a different company lol. I started playing for the lore and i'll never quit untill i see the end of Genshin lore

Arle is already super sus since she is khaneriahn that to from a previous civilization how did she survive so long? Even if she was a child from khnaeriah what abt the curse? Doesnt it apply on her? And i did hear abt one of sinners who was actually hubting all crimson moon dynasty ppl? They also did some rituals related to blood... and arle has blood debt which accumulate and then she uneleashes her full power not to mention she has "wings" that looks like ronovas literally you cant deny her design is too similar with a shade i feel she might also have some sort of pact with her and it is stated something is stored inside arlechinno ppl did speculate that it may have been that one eyed thing but now i am not so sure what if crimson moon ppl worshipped not any outer god but the shade themselves? And what if some huge important powet is actually stored in arle?

Whatever it is, genshin is slowly cooking a very dangerous soup. I really don't know what will happen 9 months from now with the introduction of snezhnaya. Will we face the abyss or celestia or do we travel to teyvat . Which characters comes to the aid of the traveller. Whats gonna happen.

u know, ive been thinking about something. In fontaine they said the heavenly principles are asleep cause they are prolly wounded or something. And we know one of the 4 shades Asmodeus (the unknown god in the starting game cutscene) was prolly wounded after the khanreah disaster if u look at her hands. Now that is why we all thought the heavenly principle n the shades were quiet when the hydro throne was destroyed was cause they were in a hibernation state.
YET we see Ronova casually coming here to fulfill her contract. So that means the other shades must be awake as well, so why didn't they do anything when the hydro throne was destroyed n its power to returned to a dragon soverign?!? Because we know Phanes n their shades fought Nibelung and the sovereigns so they should have responsibility even if Phanes was the only one asleep.
And heck even Ronvoa saw Paimon directly n didn't comment anything about her.
Also am i the only one who finds Ronova's voice kinda hot?

Ronova stated that she can't interfere with the rules of mankind, so most likely the Lord of Death appointed an avatar that could and that avatar was in Arlecchino's bloodline.

She does NOT descend from people of that Khaenri'han orphanage. She descend from the ruling dinasty of the time, The Crimson Moon dinasty before the Eclypse Dinasty. Shes royalty. It was stated clearly.

FULL EXPLANATION:


The abyss is actually the sky, and teyvat is more or less upside down, the "fake sky" being hell, which is why the heavenly principles make it seem real. If you look at the loading screen for the game, you see ruins in the abyss, which are kaenriah in the present moment. Essentialy, the traveller's sibling, who was also the ruler of kaehriah, is now the queen or king of the abyss, because the abyss people are whoever are left afterwards. That's also why the abyss experiments with hillichurls, which are rotted kaehnrians. Arlecchino descends from a Kaehrian house called the blood something, and that's her origin. Her ancestors must have made a contract with Ronova, making them powerful, with a downside.

This would mean Khanrei'ah isn't truly a nation with no god and that it was unknowingly to its' people being watched over by a god who is greater than the seven at least for a time.

I feel like people pretty early on connected Arle with Ronova, glad to see that the foreshadowing was actual foreshadowing and not a dead end.
