Drivers of illegal fat bikes are uninsured
Drivers of illegal fat bikes are uninsured. Personal injury lawyer sees the first damage cases involving fat bikes arriving at her office. The drivers are usually very young and the damage in an accident is large, according to the lawyer. “If you are uninsured, you can pay for all kinds of costs, such as material damage, medical costs and legal costs. The biggest expense is lost revenue. In case of a lawsuit you can sell or eat your house.
26"x4.6" Fatboy/Hellga is the way to go! Here in Heidelberg/Germany we have a trail called "Felsenmeer". Only fatbikes can use this trail due to the huge rocks there!
PS: I even upgraded the front wheel to a 4.9". Now it rolls over everything like a panzer!
Blake, when are you gonna get a full sus fat bike? I LOVE mine.
ОтветитьHow well does this bike handle potholes?
ОтветитьShould have got electric fat tire bike
ОтветитьFAST FAT BIKE SETUP.
Rear Schwalbe Jumbo Jim, Front Maxxis minion FBR.
The JJ rolls like a fast MTB tyre and the FBR is a proper traction tyre.
I can ride fast and aggressive with this setup.
Excellent job my friend
Ответить100% would take the Fat Bike over the gravel, lol :D
ОтветитьWhat about in just pavement roads any difference between them?
Ответитьa great vid loving that orange
ОтветитьOr put a cyc x1 on the fatbike
Makes its also climb good
Riding drops on stuff like that isn’t much fun.
ОтветитьWould like to see the comparison to the usual trail bike. On the same route
ОтветитьI'll choose a fat bike any day it stands out against the rest.
ОтветитьWould you not of been faster on the fatty had you locked on your front suspension on the gravel after all that’s what it’s there for ,maybe you had it locked on I just didn’t think it was also for me anyway the fatbike it way cooler all be it not faster am just biased probably as I’ve got a trek farly coming and I got it to get fitter from using a normal tyre hard tail …..great video
ОтветитьWhy is it always about speed? Not everyone is focused on how FAST they can get down a trail. Most people can't ride either bike in that manner, and most don't have such high end bikes. Where was the soft sand, deeper gravel or thick mud? Where were the uphill slippery root sections, the tight, slow speed technical sections? Stuff that the gravel bike would really struggle in, whilst the fat bike would be in it's element. From the outset, the whole test was biased towards lighter, faster bikes without taking any account of the real strengths of the fat bike. Just the usual rubbish conclusions based on unrealistic tests. 🙄
ОтветитьThe bike to go for is the one that brings you joy.
ОтветитьI'd like a mountain or a fat bike but can't you put the fat bike tyres on the mountain , gravel one or it won't fit?
ОтветитьXc bike vs fat tire bike
ОтветитьI need to own BOTH these bikes
ОтветитьThis was so awesome. I’m actually surprised it was only 10 secs overall but very big difference at the end to be expected
ОтветитьSadly gravel bikes is the genre of bikes where you get the least bike for your money. So incredibly overpriced.
ОтветитьThe fat bike is much more fun than the gravel bike.
ОтветитьJust get all 3! I love my MTB, gravel and fat bike!! Ride all the bikes...
Ответитьdrop bar fat bike
ОтветитьNow I don't feel so bad making all the same sounds as Blake coming up a hill on my fat bike. Thing with me is, I have to take a break or two going up as well.
ОтветитьWatching you, the way you ride and your bike handling skills is joyful - think you’d make any bike look quick!
ОтветитьEasy to use and clean. Very convenient.
ОтветитьI love you to Blake! ❤️❤️❤️
Ответитьunicycle vs recumbent
ОтветитьBlake, for another head-to-head I'd love to see a full on down hill bike against a Fatty on a propper (if possible) UCI ?? downhill course to see the difference, can a Fatty just smash straight though the the track and lift the crown ??
ОтветитьFor me, the fat bike is the most versatile bike. My fatty runs 26x4 tires, so it rolls really well and has above average speed. Great video!
ОтветитьGreat Video! For a next head-to-head I'd like a XC fully with lockout vs a gravel bike vs an allmountain fully.
ОтветитьI am a fatbike fanatik! I use it for everything. However I do own a gravel bike as well and I'd like to get her tooled up like yours is Blake. Great video! Thanks for sharing.
Ответитьand now how about a gravel bike with fat tires 😅
Ответитьwould love to see you take on that trail on a penny farthing. Just to see how far we have come
ОтветитьPennyfarthing vs. enduro. You asked.
ОтветитьFat tires are just a Walmart fashion that's all
ОтветитьLove this, just heading out to try and get a fatty sorted.
Ответитьyeah but your a top pro rider, how about same test with a average rider with a road ftp of 250watts?
ОтветитьI remember the first time i put 2.5" WTB Motoraptors on my Giant hardtail in 1999... felt invincible
Ответитьgravel bikes now are basically a MTB with minimal front susp. from 1993 ... prove me wrong?!
ОтветитьIt taste blood😅
ОтветитьFatbike always wins!!!
ОтветитьAfter years of road racing the pleasure I get from riding my fatty over my carbon road bike is off the scale, it's not fast but at least everyone can see my smile. Loaded up for bike packing trips it just looks and feels so good. But then again hitting a long climb on the road bike and the responsiveness when going full tilt is also hard to beat. Face facts a bad day on the bike is still better than most good days off the bike regardless of what you are peddling.
ОтветитьYes its a MTB, just from 30 years ago with the funny little breakes, rediculous 30mm Forks and geometry from 90s MTBs. Just with bent handlebars...
ОтветитьPlaque vs cholera ....
Ответитьlatest e-bike vs latest enduro on a dh
