Detailed guidline on applying for Vietnam E-visa (2022)

I am told by my friends that : you still have to pay US$ 19 extra when you landed Vietnam with your E-Visa ( even though i have already paid US25 for processing) . Is it correct please ?

hi I can't find anything online about this - I am going with someone who has a hyphonated last name - on the evisa application it won't accept the hyphon although that is how it is written on his passport. Does he just leave a gap inbetween the names?

Hello! I was hoping you could help me with some questions. I applied for an e-visa and got accepted already; however, I am not sure if I did it correctly and whether I need to worry about it if it’s already accepted.

1. I did not take a current picture of myself but rather took a photo of my passport photo (just the face part).
2. When I put in my nationality as USA, it automatically generated my nationality at birth (this was an optional question, not required) as USA too, but my nationality at birth is actually Vietnam.

I would like to redo my application just to be 100% correct but I am not sure if I can even do a new one if I already have an approved one.

I emailed them asking but never received a reply.

Two questions:

1. My wife is from Russia, so she does not need visa for 15 days. If she decides to stay longer is it still possible to make the visa longer in Vietnam?
We do not know when and where to leave Vietnam. If we don't have evisa we will leave within 15 days, but do we already have to show at the airport our bus ticket to get out of Vietnam? We would like to keep it flexible.

2. The e-visum was refused because the portrait photo was incorrect. We now updated a new one. How long, do you think, will it take to receive an answer? Three work days are already over.

Visa in France is thé most complicated... Viet kieu has to Pay ... (Compare to Laos Cambodge is free if you have Roots and more better its a visa for whole life..) . Go to embrasse,no one pay thé same Price. Btw visa exemption 5 years has been removed.. Always money Always money .how to give at all Viet kieu to Come back more often
