We never get a good conclusion to Axles story. He was never in Mega man Zero, the model A biometle was not based off of Axl but Albert from the ZX series. So if we ever get a ZX 3 we could see Axl and you use Axl. He would use the biometle. He could also be alive in the time of Legends, maybe old and worn but still trying to find a way to save the world. Or we could get a solo Axl game like Zero did.

You might have mentioned back in Mega Man one that Wily had a jealous rivalry with Light. He wanted more credit.

The way I understood Zero and the sigma virus came from that one boss stage in X5 where you can see X and Zeros resting capsules and blueprints are how similar they are. It made me think that somehow, Wily got ahold of Lights plans for X and decided to make his own, as close as possible to Xs blueprints so that he'd be able to match and surpass him. However, Wily likely realized by seeing the blueprints that the source of Xs infinite potential was his completely free will, and just like how old Megaman had his sense of justice, he was never able to defeat Megaman with any of his creations, so if Zero was to ever match X he had to actually just give him free will too and go along with Lights original blueprint to achieve the same potential. However, the way he was able to circumvent his free will and force him to be evil was to implant the virus within his head crystal so that he'd keep his potential like X, but use for evil instead. That's why, once the virus mostly left him to stay inside Sigma, he sort of reversed down to being a guy just like X, whose free will made him fight for the right cause

Had a thought about Mega Man V (the gameboy one). Maybe the mega buster didn't work on them because, as it was stated, it's solar energy. Being that they're from space and possibly the subordinates of Sunstar, i doubt solar energy would hurt them nearly as much as earth bots.

Just came across this channel to an 8 hr breakdown on the Megaman IP. I don't even like Megaman. At all. But I'm hooked already as it's such a stupid idea. I'm intrigued.

Just found this video and remembered I watched some of those lecture videos years ago. Sadly don't have time for 8 hours of megaman at the moment but I'll try to slowly get through it in chunks over the next few weeks.

One of my favorite videos, i'm watching speedruns of almost every game to have some quick visuals and better understanding. I want to see more deep content like this about videogames.

It occurred to me watching this that the Nightmare and Cyber-elves could be inferenced to be the same technology, since they're both reverse-engineered from the same source and share the same characteristics (physical energy-based programs that change DNA data), only with a different function/intent.

I think it's kind of cool that Splash Woman was sort of a reference to Fairy Leviathan, which is the first time the reference have gone in that direction.

I sat through this entire thing and enjoyed most of it. Your constant insistence on pushing your personal political viewpoints in real life was not only unnecessary, but really took away from the lore of MegaMan. Trying to justify your views by using this fictional story was the worst part of the whole video.
