I wonder how this compares to a laser water cutting machined one. I would imagine the same precision cutting can be obtained with that technique, too, but without even needing the drill hole. Would love to see such a comparison.

In the manufacturing of million dollar tools sometimes you have mishaps where bits/cutters break off inside the tool and are stuck. Mobile edm machines are brought in to blast out the problem with electricity

It's an interesting video but this way of cutting metal is often used in metal puzles Also it doesn't seem like it is completely invisible as if you do look carefully you can still see the seam

I had a WIRE EDM shop for 18 years. Did this type of work every day. It's been 20 years would love to know what cutting speeds are now. Back then 12 inches an hour was fast.

I started using Brother HS100 wire EDM in 1985. the boss bought one because he thought it a good piece of kit and told me to find out how to use it in the firm. I worked out how to cut crimper profiles without the use of a computer and programmed the machine typing the code in line by line. I also told the boss it was no use only having one machine as I would be sitting watching it most of the time so he went straight out and got a second one. So while one ran I was changing over the work in the other one.

Pretty sure you tried to dupe everyone when comparing the razors. The leading brand razor works best when the safety cap I removed.
