Looking at getting one of these or the new Arex zero 2! Need to replace my 13-year-old Springfield XD40 something different

I wish they'd make a 10mm version of this!

There's currently 1 seller on Gunbroker with them in stock. Extra magazines are impossible to find, and no kydex holster availability. Unfortunately this gun bombed compared to the Shadow 2.

I've had this gun for two years as a collector. I purchased the red grips and yes they are expensive but they are better than the stock polymer grips. As always thank you for the reviews.

Milled mine for a Holosun green dot, and polished it to chrome , it’s one of my EDC guns. Love this gun.

Heavy gun I did not like it

Subscribed. This is my home defense pistol with light/laser. After shooting various poly framed pistols so often, an all steel pistol feels so right...

This is one of my favorite pistols in my collection. Not sure why it was so cheap but I found one new for 740. Out shoots my shadow 2. I put a flat faced trigger and a lighter sear spring on mine and got it under 2lbs

11 sounds of freedom and liberty. The steel ping sounded good as well. Dead on

I own three for use in USPSA. Approx 80k rounds total through 3 guns. Mounted Trijicon SRO red dots on them. I've put them, especially the practice gun, through the ringer. Message with any questions. Stuff has broken, just like ANY gun used in competition. Has been very reliable in matches overall. Good news IDPA shooters, it barely fits in the box. It's legal for you as well. Everyone asks me about it at matches, but I am the only person using it. It runs with the rest of them.

Arex not being an official Scrabble word, well we want hold that against the review. Always good to see new quality firearms coming in and especially a new import dist deal. Thanks for reviewing this brand.

Cool gun. I don’t like the angled front on the frame, but it’s not a deal breaker, the deal breaker for me is the DA/SA trigger. Thanks for showing it off.

Looks like replacement grip panels wouldn't be hard to make. Maybe a nice wood like the old days.

Does this gun have a hammer drop safety function, Dan? I do not think lowering a hammer on a live round is a good idea and would prefer "cocked and locked" if those are the choices, but then what is the purpose of the DA function at all? Always seems a little silly to have a DA/SA without a hammer drop function. Why not just go with a dedicated SA (like a 1911 or Browning High Power) and perfect the SA trigger pull?

I prefer a DA/SA or DAO hammer fired semi auto over any striker fired gun all day long for carry and defensive purposes, but they do take some training to master the trigger pull change on the DA/SA models. And they each have their own characteristics. I have a Beretta 92FS, a SIG P228 and S&W 6904. They are all great to shoot and super safe to carry, but take a little practice. A heavy, full size 9mm is a pleasure to shoot at the range.

WOW!! Absolutely amazing!
A totally neverbeforeseen piece for me. But I loved the looks of it immediately. To me it overall resembled my all-time favorite Sig X5 so damn much. But this kinda also has a CZ type big rectangular trigger guard, a Taurus-like safety lever...and that angled front might make you think of a Desert Eagle.. Geesh. Wow. Not really sure of how fond of the angular front end I am yet - but it might help holstering a bit (which is a good thing).. I would absolutely love to try one of these out.
And yes. I am a very huge fan of that Shadow2 also.

Not optics ready....just lost my interest.Any company who skips a milled slide for OR in 2021.I won't waste my time.Iron sights are a thing of the past in my opinion.Just only be used as backups! Listen up AREX

Baby Desert Eagle style ? Like Walther, the firearms industry is starting to produce what people want, 10mm in an all steel Frame with adjustable sights. Well maybe 10mm on the 2.0 Version ?

To me it looks like an HK and a Sig Sauer crossed and kept the steel frame.
