"That wasn't that bad"
car explodes
Umm is this a joke??
ОтветитьHmmm . . ? Reminds me of a guy I knew, awhile back the battery on his CRV would not hold a charge, I had been with him a few times and helped jump it, or charge it up. So . . . he calls me one day, and he had just chopped the end off of an extension cord, and . . . . he wanted to know which 2 wires out of the 3, he needed to connect to his battery to chagre it . ?!? He was hoping to plug It in to an outlet in the garage!!
Ответитьuse a halogen headlamp bulb or fog light to complete the circuit when the light goes out swing in the fuse I have to do this to charge super caps!
ОтветитьThat's why I use breakers
ОтветитьYeah. Disconnect the battery
ОтветитьA decade and you still dont know what youre doin! Fuse should already be in place. You connect ground on battery last. Bubbas chicken and car audio ass.
ОтветитьTake the load off your car. No spark.
ОтветитьOver the decade, ur a joke mate hahaha
ОтветитьJust use a Circuit breaker
Ответитьsameee I get too lazy to disconnect the battery 🤣
ОтветитьI'm usually leave this step for the pros
ОтветитьLike an Amateur posing as a Seasoned Vet.
Like a civilian dressed in stolen valor.
Like a Prospect wearing a Road Captain patch.
I can go all day..
Tell me you know car audio without telling me you know car audio.
ОтветитьEver try doing it with the ground disconnected? I mean man points for the entertainment but bro, there’s an easier way.
ОтветитьHey man if this is a recurring issue remove the battery but if you choose not too pick yourself up some welding gloves I’m a welder and can tell you unless they are wet you won’t get shocked
ОтветитьEveryone saying “disconnect the battery”. Just use a test light to charge the capacitors in your amps before connecting the fuse. Or keep doing this and eventually blowing a fuse/capacitor inside the amp🤷♂️
ОтветитьGo pick up a 20-watt 10 ohm resistor and jump the fuse block with it before attaching the fuse for a spark free install
ОтветитьThen start running relays lmao 😂
ОтветитьI dunno maybe insulated screw driver expensive? A strong wood stick?
ОтветитьTurn off the car and disconnect battery
ОтветитьDisconnect the positive 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
ОтветитьPriming the caps with a 12 volt test light eliminates the spark
ОтветитьLeave ground unhooked until you connect positive
ОтветитьHonestly this doesnt bother me one bit. Static electricity is what scares me to death 😂
ОтветитьScared of a little spark ?
ОтветитьWow. Doesn’t own a test light.
ОтветитьDude always hookup ur ground wire first then ur power wire.!!
ОтветитьUse a pre charge resistor!
ОтветитьOver a decade for me to, use circuit breaker,, they are better, can cut Powe to certain amplifiers, and no spark!
ОтветитьCool video nice fuse set up but try connecting up the ground last, it should have less Spark, and that way, nothing can ever be shorted out while making your connections with the negative disconnected from the source battery
ОтветитьShould use the "wire tester" trick
ОтветитьWhy didn't you disconnect battery girst💀
ОтветитьSMH 😂
ОтветитьThis is cos you’ve attached the positive last rather than the ground last…..
Ответитьyeah but when you try and connect the fuse, it takes some wiggling to get it on the pillar so wouldnt it be bad if it touches, then doesnt touch, then touches again?
Ответить650cca ? Bro set up for 3k but cant produce more then 1200. Fuse osnt right at all id bet money
Ответитьim installing mine and im at this point now- however the nut holding the negative car battery terminal is stuck so i cant disconnect the negative. im wondering if i should try this
ОтветитьY don’t u just unhook the ground for the amp first
ОтветитьYep professional for sure.. That's the buddy that says I can save you hundreds, then cost you thousands!!
Ответитьused a test light to charge caps in the amps
ОтветитьFor everyone.. best way is to run the wire, get the fuse on there, plug the wire into the amp, then hook it to the battery
ОтветитьFuses restricts power I’ve been running no fuse for years no issues
ОтветитьFor all those saying to unhook the battery… just so you’re aware… an amplifier has what is called capacitors inside of it, which can release electricity as well. lol
ОтветитьWorst part for me is getting the signal wires from the speakers
ОтветитьYou should have disconnected the negative from the battery before you do all that
Ответить3 options..
1)Disconnect the negative instead
2) install ceramic fuses
3) man up! 🤷♂️
Wow your smart. Disconnect the battery
ОтветитьCharge them with a light bulb and then connect the power you can also do it with a fancy but any 12 to 30 volt small light bulb will work just wait till the bulb turns on
ОтветитьUse a test light to charge the capacitor think me later 💡
