you actually didnt need to do the launchers or melee, the requirements was like polyatomic on 51 weapons, and the "51 weapons" is the key factor, it didnt need to be the base 51 weapons, it was just any weapons, so after 2 seasons IW added enough extra guns that you could ignore launchers and melee entirely which is what i did to get orion

Bro, you are not kiddin about the PTSD from the long shots. I did exactly what you did. I camped in hardcore(Tier 1🙄) and kept leaving games until I got a good map… put my gun in single fire with a thermal. I spent weekends doing that for hours. I think half of my game-time is doing that😭. Luckily MWIII is not doing longshots and doing a system where mastery challenges have different challenges for each gun, so that we are not doing the same challenge for days.

I really like how there are so many different mastery camos to go for in the newer games. Like gold if you really like a gun, or tin foil if you like a certain weapon class. I finally got damascus in cod mobile, you have to do overy challenge for every new weapon added since release which is alot now
