Baldurs Gate 3 - Ps5 Controller and Controls Guide

One thing I have not figured out, how to easily recast hex without using a spellslot. Do I need to keep the "add new spells to radial" active for that? Because It does always remove when I do add the bonus button for it

When I play with my friend on ps5, am I the only one who can control the other 2 npcs or can I give 1 npc to my friend?

This game does such a bad job at explaining how to use the controller to play it.

The only thing I can't workout is how to transfer spells to your companions on the PS5 version of Bulders Gate 3!

Great video. How do you change the order of the party like you can on the PC where all you do is drag their icons up and down? I only see how to toggle group and ungroup, but i dont want my party walking in the wrong order.

Please help me, how can I change the spells of Shadowhearth after long rest? I am stucked with Disguise :)

It's so stupid this game is not made for controllers. If they allowed KnM It would improve a lot.

This is the worst video. All you hear is the button pressing can barely hear your voice put some bass in that man. Smh

I wish I would’ve seen this when I first started playing. I’m not sure if it’s mentioned here but I’ll say it just in case: when toggling tooltips on items that have other effects where u want to see the tooltip inside the tooltip (on m&k just click the word and it’ll pop up another tooltip), click the touchpad :)

I just started playing on my PS5. Holding X to search is much better than trying to position myself at the right spot. Also long down for group sneak and short up for jump is great. Thanks for showing me this.

So you only pull the r2 to open this wheel?? Do I have to hold it or only one time? I was looking for hours for a journal yesterday and couldn't find it. I see this wheel for the first time. This is so ridiculousl the game don't tell you how open a journal. I was going to get crazy 😂

How can you DROP items and arrange them in specific areas? Like placing explosives around an enemy?

Thanks for the video, saved me some time in my ps5 play for sure, but how do you show the npc line of sight? like on PC it's SHIFT to see a red area where npc's see you, so you know where to stealth. I can't find it on ps5

There are some things I prefer on M/KB but tbh I think this is the way to play.

my only issue so far has been that the radial menus love to rearrange themselves, specifically on my wizard. I swap prepared spells a lot to make use of rituals and optimize for scenarios, which usually messes with my custom radials. Changing my gear does this too. Is there a way to lock my radials layout or otherwise avoid the unwanted rearranging?

Good video but the sounds of the controller is too much. Maybe move the controller away from the mic and less background music so we can hear you better since you have a quiet voice. 👍🏽

I’ve been trying to find a PS5 controller guide for this game everywhere online with no luck, since I got used to looking up tips and tricks for this game but they were all using the Mouse and Keyboard interface. So had no idea how to do certain actions once the ps5 version came out. Learned a lot from this video, awesome simple straightforward video! 👍
