I knew i would love this guy just like a lime in a coconut
Ответитьactually isnt "curry" a british term of the Indian kari?
ОтветитьLove the this Chef's vibes! No gatekeeping here!
RE: American Indian restaurants: The place we order almost all of our takeout, I mean overall not just Indian, is South Indian. They do offer a lot of the standard Northern stuff or CTM or butter chicken (and American Chinese because it's Minnesota and you have to have that stuff on the menu so one person can't "veto" a restaurant), but it's the South Indian food that we love. Pav Baji and (lamb) Keema Pav Baji is so, so good I can't resist ordering it every single time. Even cheap white bread buns are amazing when toasted in ghee or butter or whatever it is that they're using. Combine that with the veg mash and it's just :chefskiss:
We order some "wedding food" like Hyderabad or Vijayawada biryani but man, that South Indian street food is so good.
Parotta and Parantha are different, parotta is a south Indian speciality
ОтветитьHe just gave cuisines of 4 states whereas India has much more food and cultural diversity, two states neighbouring each other are like different countries with their own cuisines
ОтветитьI love how this 🎉
ОтветитьI grew up eating paratha in morning and roti at lunch/dinner didnt knew i was poor by the day.
ОтветитьNope no mention of NE India it's wild people would go bonkers once they know of our cuisines just like any India food NE foods are just as unique and tasty❤.
ОтветитьThis guy doesnt seem to know much about Indian food. And also he is keep on adding peacock in his menu. So...😅
ОтветитьHe use perfect map of india❤
ОтветитьIndians eat with hands because you need to eat food with your five senses. smell, touch, see, taste and hear. That's why we eat with hands not because of poverty. correct yourself!!!!
ОтветитьI was working for an Indian family and the mother served me bhel puri once. It was amazing. I've also recently discovered chaat, which is popular in my area due to the number of Indian immigrants. I hope more types of Indian food become popular in America because they are all so delicious!
ОтветитьYou've used an incorrect map of India, and one which is not recognised by any country in the world (except India). Half of the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir is administered by Pakistan. What you've done is the equivalent of using a map of Russia and incorporating Ukraine into it.
Ответитьkese naan hain ye
ОтветитьI love amul
ОтветитьWhy Indians prefer to eat with hands:
As per Vedas and other ancient scriptures, every part of our body is connected with five elements and each finger represent that one element. Thumb, forefinger, mid-finger, ring finger and pinky finger represent space, air, fire, water, space and earth. It is believed that touching food with hands evoke these elements and prepares the stomach and digestive system.
Whoever said naan, parotta and roti are the same has a death wish
There aren't many ways to put indians in a bloodlusted frenzy but this is a very effective method
I should also take this moment to say that parathas and parottas are nothing alike. The question asked about parottas while he explained what a paratha is. Unfortunately, most people born and raised in north India don't even know about the existence of parottas, when parottas are infact far superior. It might sound like a presumptuous statement, but really, its true. No comparison. Parottas are much closer to naan in composition, but structurally, parotta are an artistic masterpiece. Any South Indian, and everyone else who has tried parottas will vouch for this. Best enjoyed with beef.
Im sorry i really love parottas
Love it!
ОтветитьFor a second there I thought dude was snorting fat rails before recording but then realized he just going grey 😂
ОтветитьHe got vindaloo absolutely wrong. Aloo--means potato...while preparing meat, we add potatoes in it, sometimes fried potatoes.
Ответить+1 to the chef for explaining what a curry means. It just means sauce. So "let's have curry for dinner" translates to "let's have sauce for dinner".
ОтветитьThis guy is r3tarded there is no consistency in Endian food. Disgusting mishmash of everything
ОтветитьPersians introduced us meat??? How funny us tgt?
ОтветитьIndian food isn't popular in Indonesia, and I had a hard time finding any Indian restaurants there. Jakarta had a few. I'm not sure why. Indonesians don't really go for curries in my experience and prefer their rice and meats just fried. They also have their own spice profiles that is maybe too similar to Indian food while still being different? Like an uncanny valley effect for spice. They really go for Japanese food though, which I suppose is just different enough.
I love Indian food. It's a wonderful crossroads of cuisine with its own distinct pop.
Amazing video!
ОтветитьHis moustache colour looks like he just did a huge amount of blow lol
ОтветитьGreat to see a Parsi (a very tiny minority in India) representing Indian food so passionately. ❤
ОтветитьDude can't even make a dosa properly.
ОтветитьHuge respects to him for showing the Right map of India ❤️
ОтветитьTwo biggest misconceptions about Doses:
1. It is not a quick process, it takes a day and a half to make dosas.
2. We flip the freaking dosa!!!!!!
Bonus: Your dosa wasn't crispy, it was burnt!
wowww just ignored the north east....gimme a break east doesnt end on Bengal .....for god sake
ОтветитьI would love to see more of this guy, and his Indian cooking <3
ОтветитьAbsolutely loved his vibe !
I agree with everything he said :)
I would like to add that - always wash your hands (preferably with soap) before eating (in case you want to try the Indian way of eating). This is one really important pointer he missed.
To all of the Indian food lovers in these comments: what are your favorite dishes that don't contain tomatoes, garlic, onions, or a lot of heat? The gastroenterologist recently told me I need to eat less of those things, which are key components in all of my favorite Indian meals, and I'm wondering what else I can try that will check all of the boxes!
ОтветитьOk, next time let's talk about Indian Pale Ales... I've heard so many crazy stories about that! 🙂🙃🙂
ОтветитьWe went to an Indian restaurant in San Francisco in the 1980, The menu was pretty limited. When we commented on this to the waiter, he said “You’re British? We’ll cook you any thing! The food was great.”
Ответитьif u eat paratha with a fork and a knife, i will judge u
ОтветитьThis guy is a fraud. Doesn't know anything about india
ОтветитьLoved that you have chosen Mumbai over Delhi in street food!!!
I think Delhi street food might be a bit more tasty but it doesn't have the diversity of flavors.
It's 1 A.M. and after watching this I'm starving, but all the restaurants are closed. :(
ОтветитьAmazing vid
ОтветитьBro just ignored North east India just like that?
ОтветитьButter chicken is claimed to be invented by Daryaganj not Moti Mahal.
ОтветитьWhy you're saying Indian words as you can't pronounce Indian words properly! Is actually you can't pronounce Indian words properly!!
Btw, Britishers ruled India for 200 years, not 150 years- unfortunately.
I'll suggest Jhal Muri ( spicy Muri) to you, you can try it at the city of culture.
Cheese over vada pav is a crime.
ОтветитьThe one who couldn't tell the difference between naan, paratha and roti, I'm sad for you... hoping someday you'll get to try authentic types of each and know how to tell the difference. Where I live, other than roti (chapati) you can also get thepla and kulcha. Can anyone recommend other types of Indian bread to try? Thank you in advance.
ОтветитьFully enjoyed this video. As an Indian, loved this.
