I Paid $1,500 for this Blind Box of NES CIB Games

Man, now I'm jealous of that Dragon Warrior and Battletoads. I do have a CIB Battletoads on it's way / being shipped to me, but... it's a "reprint"? I guess or believe, Famicom version from... I think the reprint was last year, or maybe 2021? Either way, and I DO have a loose NES cart of the game (same with Dragon Warrior, as well as Final Fantasy - FF is THE ONE NES game I would love to acquire a CIB copy of anymore, since I do have the Nintendo Power player's guide for the game, but I think I have a better chance of affording the original Famicom version CIB than I do the NES version, as well as the Famicom FF II and III).

So, no hate at all man, but... show off! Lol, here I am, wishing I could afford $2,000-$3,000 for TWO Famicom games (Seirei Densetsu Lickle, and Gimmick!). Anyway, fun video 😀
(I've also used up ALL of my luck for this year; $25 at a local thrift store for a N64 console, came with the power adapter and an a/v cable, 3 not so spectacular games - Star Wars Pod Racer and two sports games - AND an OEM Expansion Pak, like I said, $25 in total... and at a different local thrift store on a different day, $5 for the Gamecube's Gameboy Player startup / boot disc, JUST the disc, but again, $5, and it's a "CIB" disc, like it has that cardboard slip thingy that the one I've had since 2007 never came with)

There was a sealed Videomation box at PRGE that I picked up. In better condition than yours and still not worth much. But I didn't buy it to "invest."

I think 1500 was a fair deal especially being in the boxes. Back in the 80s and early 90s it would have cost you $1500 for 30 games and u got 50. Games were very expensive back then. I think u will make your money back but probably won’t profit. But u will make money from this video so u still win

This is why I enjoy shopping in flea markets and thrift stores. You pay nothing for it and you can see what you are getting

Your Dad sounds awesome. My best friend as a teen had a father who was as old as my grandparents and was kind of a benevolent trickster. Be sure to open Shadowgate and see if the hint book is included; I think it was sold separately.
