Hit a zx5/zx7 combo set today, easily the best irons I have ever hit
ОтветитьStrange statement there , if correct.
The body forged, and the face not.
On zx5.
Why would they go to t he bloody effort to forge the body, when n the body doesn't have an impact on performance.
More likely to cast the body and forge t he face.
I think this is what they did
No offense here, when people say , that they are underrated.
Its almost expected that this is what they should be.
I've hit these irons of this model and the last, they are brilliant.
I couldn't purchase the previous model at the time through early covid, due to all the shipping delays and nonsense.
End up with mizuno 921 hot metals, they are fine, srixzon if available at the time , I would bought them in heartbeat.
Srixzon don't play the game with notorious big bank of players, just enough to get the profile recognized.
We should all wake up and buy these amazing products of srixon.
Cubs and balls are all first class
Swing always so nice and in control 😊
ОтветитьExcelente
ОтветитьI have last years ZX5’s. 3-AW and love everything about them. So easy to control, soft feel, and great looking. Shocked that the ZX4’s are 10 yards longer!
ОтветитьI always felt like a hypocrit by riding motorcycles and thinking golf is an elitist sport
Untill i looked at the price of these clubs. I'm sticking to cars and motorcycles. Fuck sakes for the price of 3-5 clubs, you can get yourself either a fun beater car and turn it into an autocross car and have some money left over OR build yourself an engine that can out perform the 6.2 chev has in their vette
do you think the V t sole actually helps vs an iron with regular bounce?? thx
ОтветитьPlease review Honma 757 series..
ОтветитьWanna see the ZX5 vs Mizuno pro 225 !
ОтветитьShaft spec?
ОтветитьIf only the top line of the ZX7 didn’t look so chun-keh
ОтветитьI’m a +22 handicap and honestly these are so good I don’t play any better with GI irons than I do with the zx7 set I own.. of course my irons aren’t really my problem my long woods are usually my issue
Ответитьwow zx5 gave you more spin with less loft , though only 1 degree, its interesting
ОтветитьModus shafts
ОтветитьMaybe now they'll put Lucas Glover in their commercials, lol.
ОтветитьDecided to get fancy. I am a 9 Hdcp so the Zx5 full set would be what I should have ordered if I were normal but I'm a golfer so normal is not part of the equation. Ordered 5i 6i in the ZX5 and 7 thru gap in the ZX7. I think I have found nirvana. 5 & 6 ZX5 are much easier to hit, fly higher, and go longer than the ZX7. The 7 thru gap in the ZX7 are much better feeling with better trajectory control than the ZX5. Because I am a slow swinger (72 mph with the 7i) I chose the KBS Tour Lite steel shaft in reg flex (Just not a fan of graphite shafts in my irons). I am simply elated cuz I am a long sufferer in my search to find a suitable set of irons. I'm out. 🥺
ОтветитьWonder how the ZX4 compares to the utility
ОтветитьNo glove. What a guy!
ОтветитьI can’t wait for my zx5 mk2’s to get here! Best clubs without the BS hype!
ОтветитьThese or Mizuno JPX923 Hot Metal?
ОтветитьGreat feeling irons and super easy to blend. I matched them with KBS C Taper Light shafts and couldn’t be happier.
ОтветитьGame the ZX5's myself. Went in for a fitting considering Srixon, but leaning towards other brands, and walked away with the ZX5's as the clear winner, not only based off of numbers, but the looks and feel blew me away. I've always known Srixon to be a chronically underrated/disrespected brand, but I can personally now vouch for how slept-on this brand is. Would highly consider giving them a go for anyone considering a new set of sticks. They're pure.
ОтветитьFit into these today. 16 launch / 5500 spin / 46 degree descent angle / 185 carry. Spin seemed a little low but I'm seeing that number for a lot of people hitting these. Played Z star XV. Anything concerning here? My fitter wasn't very knowledgeable.
ОтветитьI am a plus 2 handicap and switched to the 785s a couple years ago. Have never hit irons any better, my previous set were ping i series e1. Love the forged feel and price of srixon. Best irons on the market. Can't wait to try the zx7s but can't imagine I would like them any better than what I am playing now. Gave up about a club in distance but the accuracy more than makes up for that.
ОтветитьZx5 is forged face?
ОтветитьNot the biggest fan of the look. I actually like the z785 much more compared to the zx7, do you think there’s a lot of difference between the two?
ОтветитьI played the 765's forever, then transitioned to last model ZX7's. I have played SOOOO many OEMs, but I'm gonna wear out these ZX7. Crazy underrated irons.
ОтветитьHow’s the zx7 compare to t100?
ОтветитьVery excited to try these out! I remember trying out the ZX7's last year & they felt the best to me, so these Mk II irons might be the ticket into the bag. Plus, their new woods & the Cleveland wedges are also super amazing this year, so it might be the trifecta!
ОтветитьSo what are the differences between the old ZX5 and the MK2? seems like no one is comparing them to the old ones. HMMMMMM!!!
ОтветитьMike, any chance of a comparison video ZX7 Mk1 vs Mk2 ??
ОтветитьYou're right about the feel difference between the ZX5 & 7. I got a blended set 2 years ago 5-6-7 in ZX5 and 8-9-PW in the ZX7. I'm now wishing that I got all ZX7's although the gapping is good and my GIR's over all have improved.
ОтветитьI know the ZX 4’s are not a iron you would play, however I would value your thoughts on how the ZX4 compares to the TM 790’s if you have the time. Even a comparison in the future would really be appreciated.
ОтветитьWhen is the driver review coming?
ОтветитьThat spin rate of those zx5. Along with the distance. Normally players distance have been starting to do great with the descent with stronger lofts but that spin is crazy. Special club for sure. Btw I thought they had sup10 face with 1020 carbon body
ОтветитьWOW, the ZX4 looks so much better now! The spin on those off center hits didn’t drop off as much as you’d think too. Srixon is always underrated these are some great looking irons across the range!
Ответитьthose new zx7's look and sound amazing
ОтветитьGreat review. The ZX5 irons have a forged SUP10 face and the body is forged 1020 Carbon Steel.
ОтветитьGood video as always. Playing ping i500 at the moment and thinking of switching to Srixon ZX7. Have tried the older version already and they did feel awesome! so I’m exited to hit the newer version. Playing hcp 4.1 so I think this can suit my game don’t you think?
ОтветитьI had the opportunity to see these irons in person, and I must say, I was beyond blown away. The milled texture between the grooves on the face are so cool. The aesthetics are incredible. Very small, compact size, but slightly chunky.
ОтветитьThe 5 and the 7 carry the same distance?
ОтветитьSrixon Golf are a favorite of Tour players especially when they are free agents and can choose whatever they want to play. Highly underrated but it won’t be for long as they continue to advertise and make great products. I have the zx5 irons in my bag and they are high quality, performing irons.
ОтветитьDid I miss on what shaft he was hitting with?
ОтветитьWhat is the same category as the TM p790? Zx4 or zx5?
ОтветитьDifference between Mk1?
ОтветитьThey're identical to my bridgestones from 2015
ОтветитьJust got fitted for the ZX7s today. They felt great, I can’t wait to get them and get out on the course 🏌️👍🏼
ОтветитьHi Michael, thanks for another quality review. I'd be very interested to hear on where you think the Wilson D9 forged would fit against these? Would it fit kind of in between the zx7 and zx5?
ОтветитьReally interesting test. The ZX5 is of most interest to me. The spin brought down the carry and levelled it out with the ZX7. But, I love how easy it seemed to launch. Wonder if that will carry over to my test, as it's something I may be looking for.
