I’ve been contemplating getting a new car with apple CarPlay, getting a new head unit, or getting a portable CarPlay. My biggest….concern is whether the unit will update to the latest CarPlay update

You say it's a 1080P display but the listing says it's 1024x600. Which is correct? Also the newer 2023 model is 30$ cheaper than this 22 model.

Does the airplay also work via usb?

Is there really no dongle I can connect to the phone/car that would communicate with my car’s existing display? Really? The only way to add ‘external Apple play’ to my car is to literally bring in ANOTHER DISPLAY? There’s gotto be some kinda dongle thingie you can connect to your car that takes over the car’s display and turns it into Apple play, no?

Hey nice video, can you tell us what the connection time is please? The android dongles all take about 30 seconds or so to connect, hoping this is faster.

I think this is a cool idea but i think if you have an infotainment system already in your car its just better to get a good mount and use your phone. Android phone can run Android Auto and it works just like the device. But you wont run into the issues with aux, etc. With cars today the car system is way too integrated. Like my car has the AC, seats, radio, navigation all tied into the system.

Wow I thought Apple and Google only allowed auto makers to put in carplay/auto head units. This is fantastic. I have a trip coming up where I’d be renting a car for few weeks and this would be a perfect fit to drive around with. Thanks for the video.

Only reason I don’t want this is because it’s ugly design and the bezels, I rather just save up and get it installed in the console

I got the 9inch display and I tell you it's the most confusing thing to use, it's got to be a easier way, I don't even use the screen Android Auto or the Spotify, I just still use my phone

if you don't have a cig lighter in the car, can you charge it by using a regular power cord? my car actually has a 2 prong plug in instead and id really like to have one of these
