These weren't 9 milly nor 5.56mm bullets, They were .45 cal .38 special and 30.06 bullets plus a .310 look at real life car afterwards those exit holes were huge

As usual Hollywood leaves out ALOT. All of the leo stated that bonnie screamed like a banshee until they over killed her, shooting through clyde because that was their only option.
This was made to glorify leo, but i appreciate how much more alike the 2 portraying bonnie and clyde actually looked more closely to them as they were in real life. Other than that, this was pretty close. Did not see any gestures or hand signs given, which was stated by most leo that were there at that time. If Henry methvin didn't snitch though, this wouldn't have happened. Had clyde not been harassed by leo after being raped in prison by a guard, which was his first kill... none of this would ever happened at all. Clyde would have listened to bonnie and kept clean and honest, thus, no bonnie and clyde as we know them. Back then you had to report your new place of employment as well as your new location of living, after you were released from jail.

These men were most likely WW1 veterans who knew what killing the bad guy was all about. They were veterans of the horrors of killing another human.

If that happened today there would be lawsuits and investigations because of the ambush. They were not afforded their civil rights. Back in the day the lawmen were much more pragmatic. Like John Dillinger or the Ma Barker gang lawmen knew the wisdom of getting the drop on these kind of people. I don't believe the courts at that time would have entertained any suits criminal or civil concerning these lawmen.

I bet the exit wounds on their bodies were so nasty after being shot that much (200 rounds were fired i think)

I saw that car in Primm, Nevada at Whiskey Pete's.

At that time (1992) it just had a rope around it, and someone watching so you couldn't sneak a souvenir.

I think it now sits inside a glass case.
