Shooting in the rain? I believe this is a stupid demonstration? Because Fez repairs are very unreasonable and expensive? They didn't put a price on it. He said it was what he said. I will never use this expensive equipment for shooting again. The ROI is very low
Ответить50 grand 😮😮😮😮😮
Ответитьthis camera is for people who like cameras not photographs
ОтветитьThanks for sharing. In my previous job I worked with a camera having an IMX411 sensor by sony which is also this resolution. It was an industrial camera (GEV interface, 24V DC power, B/W sensor) and not my choice of lens, I had loved to take it into the field with a big battery or so... Nice video and also this is not the most practical camera I guess....
ОтветитьThe one with the red berries was great. You know the #1 Law of Photography, "If it is red, take a picture of it." Question, is there fall off in detail at f/16 compared to, say, f/8 or f/5.6? And, did you get away with the theft of the Phase One? LMAO
ОтветитьAnd, does the body accept film backs?
ОтветитьIs the body & lens weather proof?
ОтветитьI wish I could get a van like that for $10K in the US. Anything like that is like $40K and up it seems. That's a pretty cool setup.
ОтветитьAnd here I am trying to make 18 megapixels work.
ОтветитьThomas, I love your videos, have you considered using a Phase One digital back on your Hasselblad CM camera? I use a Phase One P65+ (62 huge megapixels) made specially for the Hasselblad CM V system and have been getting breathtaking images over the past 6 years. We also use a Hasselblad X1D ii 50C for street photography. Both systems allow us to use our collection of CF lenses which is fantastic.
ОтветитьI have a 42 mega pixel camera but after edit only getting between 15 & 18 mega pixels. what am I doing wrong
ОтветитьWow !!! I was looking through some of my drawers, searching for that extra $50,000 I had set aside, just in case a 150 mega-pixel camera came on the market. LOL Wonderful camera !!! Great video !!!!
Ответитьthat phone call was so funny and the photo's fantastic. I was going to buy one of these cameras but I havn't got the money umm bit of a bummer... lol.
ОтветитьLmao that other guy in the beginning is hilarious
ОтветитьIf you used a 6x9cm field camera (120 roll film) for this, you'd have the tilt and swing to get the stone wall tack sharp front to back. It would cost about $1200 with three lenses, and have no electrical components to fry in the rain. It would weigh about 6lbs total with lenses. Horseman 985 technical field camera is recommended or an Arca Swiss.
ОтветитьThomas and Gavin are a great comedic duo
ОтветитьI like the size of that sensor. And is it really that expensive? All depends on how and where you spend your money. A new mid size 4wd pickup decently equipped will run close to $50,000. Aftermarket gear to make an overlander can easily add another $20,000. So which do you do? Highest resolution camera with 3 lens, a sturdy dampening tripod and lighting to boot or a decked out midsized overlander. Mmm... I think I'm gonna have to have both.
Ответитьthis is my second time watching the video and the joke at the beginning is brilliant. taken from life. and an impressive camera.
ОтветитьSharp video what lens were you using
ОтветитьSilly money
Ответитьcool umbrella 👍
ОтветитьOh Thomas Offered you a PhaseOne IQ3 100 XF over 4 years ago and You Said ,can't work with DMF Still think the same?
ОтветитьThe amount of detail is so much it's hard for my brain to process it :D
Ответитьbetween you and Gavin, whose photo book should i buy first and why? and are any of them as good as Adam's work?
ОтветитьNow, if I win the lottery, do I buy this, the Nikkor Z 400mm f/2.8 TC ... or both. While I'm at it, might as well grab that $13,000 90mm Rodenstock.😀
ОтветитьDoesn’t Samsung do 108?
ОтветитьThey certainly put this camera in the right hands.
ОтветитьNo suffering needed Tom😜😂.
ОтветитьYou‘re right. Ir‘s certainly the best camera for sports and wildfife.
Ответитьtwo questions....
1 Who but a very rich bored person would pay £50k for a camera?
2 Why would anyone even consider taking it out in the rain?
499k
ОтветитьI also want to see you taking landscape photos with a £50 camera. Would put to rest it's not the camera but the man behind it
ОтветитьWhat would have been better...
If you’d asked the bloke that looks like Kieth Lemon at the start of your video to join you on the trip then as you got to camp, said see ya later amd then gone back to the flat by yourself! 😂💀
BOO!
Love the quality of these shots, pretty awesome
ОтветитьThis thing produces big images, great ones are different
ОтветитьWhy? Gear reviews of £20K cameras- come back to the real world. Keep taking great picture with decent cameras. 150 mega pixels doesn’t take great images, just great data files. “ utterly ridiculous “ indeed. Come on stop pixel peeping get taking photos.
MJ
Good job young man! Next time, try to acquire/borrow the 150MP Achromatic back. If you can believe it, an accomplished photographer friend of mine has both! (No joke!).
ОтветитьThat phone call was just hilarious. :-D
ОтветитьCan I afford this camera? Of course not. Do I really want the camera anyway? Of course! Another topic: Does anyone want to buy a kidney?
ОтветитьWow that first image is just stunning, awesome work Thomas!
Ответитьreally, you gotta tell us what you're drinking!
ОтветитьYou would make next epidode with headline landscape photography with 50$ (or lbs) camera, it would be interesting and i am sure that the photos from cheap camera in your submission would be exquisite. It could serve as motivation for beginers, or not that rich photographers.
ОтветитьIt's not the huge megapixel camera, it's the person behind it that makes the REAL difference! ;)
ОтветитьEnjoyed that one. Good to see you using a camera that costs an obscene amount of money. :-)
ОтветитьI couldn't think of anyone better to use this camera. Better your nerves than mine. Great image and that 100% amazing.
ОтветитьI have the chance to have this camera.
Just would like to had that i like it's simplicity and the frame average option.
Once you buy this kind of product, you will keep it From 10 to 20 years, if you think how mutch you will spend in buying 3000 or 6000 euros camera in let's say 15 years, not sure it is that mutch expensive and you will never have such a good camera.
Don't have an expensive camera nikon d 7200 which I enjoy, havent fitted my van and my photos do not have the same epic ness but I can afford Heatons whiskey and enjoying at this time
ОтветитьThe Gavin cameo had me rolling! Enjoy both of your work!!
