ОтветитьOutstanding video. Fantastic, everything is so masterly explained. A thorough understanding of Friedrich Nietzsche.
ОтветитьI come back to this video all the time
ОтветитьGreat. Good to hear another point of view than the usual egalitarian bullsht that is pushed on us these days.
ОтветитьThis might be the best video on this platform hands down - coming from someone who saw a lot here.
I gotta watch it again for the 3-4th time, and take notes.
Major BAP Yale thesis energy 🔥
ОтветитьIt makes good sense....if you are physically fit you have the motivation and energy to participate in cultural pursuits
If ill, much time is wasted, often isolated, little motivation
This is our western culture now..... declining physically and culturally
Did Selective Breeding and the Birth of Philosophy rip off Nietzsche?
Ответить😂 Abel kept herds and Cain grew crops. ( 76 weeks carb free)
ОтветитьIt seems so me that nietzche had a huge straw mam when it comes to "human nature", his ideas were guided by the fantasy of power of those with a better social-economical status in society while not having in mind those who were born in the worst conditions of extreme eurocentric civilizations, a sadly epic tale of vane heroism for the mind of decadent german man
ОтветитьI am completely new to philosophy. What should I read before reading Nietzsche?
ОтветитьIve watched this video so many times. I start working out every time
ОтветитьI sit on the fence with this! I think love, empathy and compassion (not the contrived and divisive woke kind of today) are fundamental to happy human beings. That doesn't mean you destroy yourself in the process, as we are currently doing in the west.
ОтветитьPlato gets it wrong in think the world should live for philosophy. It's the other way away. I also believe that the world informs philosophy and not the other way around. Platos idealism krpt him from seeing things holistically.
ОтветитьDo you say that Protagoras was persecuted?
Anyway, a great and beautiful presentation of Nietzsche's central thoughts!
A.H THE LAST HERO IN THE WEST ✋️
ОтветитьNeitzsche, ancient greece and a sprinkling of aphex and boc, what a combo
ОтветитьNice
Ответить"Those who were dancing were thought mad by those who couldn't hear the music."
Nietzsche.
And , hearing the music is tuning into a wavelength beyond the limitations of the five senses , beyond space and time.
Mina Loy's poem sums this up perfectly.
"There is no life or death ,
Only activity ,
And in the absolute
Is no declivity
There is no love or lust
Only propensity
Who would possess is a non-entity
There is no first or last
Only equality
And who would rule joins the majority ,
There is no space or time
Only intensity
And tame things have no immensity."
This channel is amazing and criminally underrated
ОтветитьI disagree with the interpretation of “political”, it seems when he refers to political ages he means ages of democratization, or parliamentarianism, as in his time, an aristocracy is above politics because it concerns itself with great projects.
ОтветитьThe Laws of Lycurgus are themselves a testament to high culture though!
ОтветитьBased! Headed to the gym now!
ОтветитьThe Movie "7 Samurai" (1954) depicts this phenomenon very good as well.
ОтветитьMagnificent depth in your explanations and its many threads, and excellent use of visuals to compliment the voiceover.
Ответитьamazing video. pls make more. I love ur videos
ОтветитьNice work. You are, however, being careless with Athenian history in order to fit your thesis. It was not Pericles but Cleisthenes who reshaped the Athenian polity by transferring power from the aristocracy to the demes. Cleisthenes' reforms took place by 524 BCE, while the Greco-Persian Wars took place between 499 and 449 BCE, meaning that Athens's military and political hegemony, and its Golden Age, took place simultaneously under democracy, not under aristocracy. Pericles, a democrat if there ever was one, became undisputed leader of Athens in 461, 85 years after the rule of Cleisthenes and the establishment of democracy.
ОтветитьWhat's the song name in the introduction?
Ответить"Is it a coincidence that the culture who invented drama, philosophy, and science also invented the Olympics?" Excellent work man.
ОтветитьDude this is better than 2 university semesters in one short video! Hell yeah! Your specifics are incredible. Thank you!
ОтветитьVery based
ОтветитьReally great video, thank you.
ОтветитьWow. Thank you for this. Incredible content, brother 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
ОтветитьOne of the greatest videos I’ve ever come across. Thank you! Boards of Canada rocks too!
ОтветитьThis video was magnificent
ОтветитьFunny how in reality every aristocratic class without fail inevitably degenerates into hedonism and weakness, while the supposed slavish underclass of laborers subservient to the aristocrats are the ones who actually grow stronger and end up overthrowing their pathetic rulers. There is nothing truly noble in Nobility.
ОтветитьFantastic analysis thank you
ОтветитьGood stuff.
ОтветитьOutstanding
ОтветитьGood content 🥰
ОтветитьThe perfect pre workout
ОтветитьExcellent Video
ОтветитьBased video. Really inspired me to get back in the gym and continue my own self improvement
Ответитьits easy to understand how the nazis came from this awful nightmare cruelty
ОтветитьGlad I found this channel Philosophy with Aphex Twin? Yes please
Ответитьhomoerotic nude statue worship is not "based and redpilled." it is something only a fake like BAP would promote.
