Good Video Mark. I like these types of videos, my goal for 2024 is to break 80!
ОтветитьEewww — rainbow shaft?
ОтветитьThanks Mark…used the information gleaned from your videos to finally crack 80 today! My mindset was to improve the number of greens in regulation ( 9 ) today and to avoid the trouble on my course..got caught out by the second last hole, a tricky short par three , and took my only double because of a bunker. This information is very valuable! Patience is a real virtue in this game. Cheers from Nova Scotia..MikeR.
ОтветитьFor me, consistency is a bit of a problem! I can shoot 79 one day then 90 the next. Thank you for the tips!
ОтветитьThanks Mark. I mainly play 9 nowadays and average 41-46. These videos have started me breaking 40 much more regularly. Keep these coming. Thanks again
ОтветитьSo what you’re saying is that 21 handicappers like myself need to just take whatever few great shots we may luck up with and avoid bad shots like the plague. Lol
ОтветитьMark,
Absolutely love your videos and have been following you for about 12ish years. Your tips have helped me in my career at the professional level on Mini Tours and in Monday Qs. Working on My own content now and using you as a guide. Thanks for everything!
Finally had a chance to get my Arccos grips fitted today. Can’t wait to get out and start to get some much needed help and information on my game! Thanks for the content Mark! I really like how you simplify the game.
ОтветитьIn the break 80 series, is there any thought on talking about the mental the game of golf or course strategy?
ОтветитьIt’s all about cheeping and putting!
ОтветитьGreat video!! Makes common sense. BUT!!! We all think we are better than we are. So long as I have a half decent round, and a good laugh with my group/society its a good day.
ОтветитьI really struggle with hitting a fade and kind of just rely hitting the Draw and just starting trusting it this year. Broken 80 a couple times this year just trusting the ball flight
ОтветитьYep
Not new but enthusiastically presented
Love every single video. Don’t know where else to ask, so here goes: any plans in the works for course vlog rebirth? The public are back to the office and ready to watch the muppet tour in all of its splendor.
ОтветитьI like the way it’s all strung together! I’m not there yet, but I am definitely gonna take a lot of this out there with me. Thanks Mark!
ОтветитьWhat are your thoughts about swing weight throughout the bag? Should they be the same or should the driver, woods and hybrids be lighter than irons? Current my driver is a D5 and my irons D1. I really enjoy my irons a lot and the are a pleasure to hit.
ОтветитьStrategy is such a big part of golf that I see people screw up. I'm a 5 handicap and I play with some friends who range from like a 15 to a 30ish handicap, and it's the one thing they all do wrong consistently. We'll pull up a hole with hidden carries and hazards or tight fairways and they just grab driver and aim down the middle of the fairway without thinking. I'll say hey guys what's the carry over the water there or how far to that bunker or what's the rollout at the end of the dogleg and their response is usually "I don't know". That's why I love having the GPS apps where I can check distances and find the widest part of the fairway or where the bailout is. They're spraying drivers into the lakes or carrying is over the dogleg into some trees instead of planning anything out for just a second.
ОтветитьI'm a big "middle of the green" guy. The guys I play with all laser the flag every time and hit exactly that for number. I try to always ignore the info I'm hearing.
ОтветитьI really appreciate all the stats analysis.
ОтветитьSurprised that 70 shooters have a penalty off tee in 5%. That’s 1 in 20 tee shots ie barely better than 1 per round
ОтветитьIm usually the guy screaming for my ball to get into the bunker. It shocks everyone lol. Obviously I would take a straight forward chip then a bunker but I have way more confidence hitting out of a pristine bunker then the rough at most golf courses.
ОтветитьHey Mark! What are Par Frees?! Kidding my friend. Love these segments. I'm absolutely hooked on the podcast and love the Saturday Stat! Cheers.
ОтветитьYour welcome.
ОтветитьI love this series! It’s my favorite content you’ve ever done
ОтветитьGreat Video. After playing golf for 30 years I finally decided to try to shoot lower score but playing the percentages instead of the "hero" shots that can really rack up a big number.
Ответитьgreat stuff, and importantly strategizing like this means that even on you not best striking days you still have a very good chance to break 80, that makes golf a lot more fun
ОтветитьGreat video Mark. Have thoroughly enjoyed this entire series thank you. 👍
ОтветитьHa! You're a shaftoid.
