Love the design. Well done Shara
ОтветитьThat turned out very nicely. I will use some of your ideas when i'm going to build mine. Thanks and greetings from sunny Jamaica.
ОтветитьGood woodworking project. I like it.
ОтветитьVery nice design! Thanks for sharing
ОтветитьI am really loving your videos, you're becoming my #1 woodworker video maker
Ответить"I really don't know that I'm using this right... and I don't honestly care. Because if it gets the job done, it gets the job done." - This is me every time I use a hand plane
ОтветитьBeautiful table. If you use threaded inserts on the top, you can take it on and off for moving with no worry about the holes stripping.
ОтветитьI was skeptical about the live edge, but it actually adds so much to the final piece. Well done!
How did you line up your dowels so easily?
I can't watch your videos at work because at some point, I yell, "Boots!" and everyone looks at me like I'm crazy.
ОтветитьAnother great video. You need to do a shop setup and or shop tour at the new place!
ОтветитьYou just got lucky on the table with the glued top. If the humidity changes that table can still crack because wood can expand 15% across the grain. This table will last way longer the way you made it this time. Love the design 👌
ОтветитьThis has been my favorite build of yours so far to date. Keep up the good work!!
ОтветитьThe difference between gluing a tabletop down and attaching it with clips is not 1 year vs 3 years, it is 3 years vs 30. Wood movement will eventually tear apart a table that is glued down. If you want your furniture to last a lifetime, continue to use the clips.
ОтветитьAnother option to milling your assembled top is to haul the top to the mill and have them plane and drum sand it. Perhaps not practical for a one-off project though.
ОтветитьWhat was your total cost of the lumber?
Ответитьnice table
ОтветитьParabéns Shara!! Você é muito talentosa!!!
Ответитьbeautiful......I just found my next build :)
ОтветитьWho the heck needs an expensive circle jig when you can hand make one out of some scrap wood. Always love seeing your videos.
ОтветитьVery nice table. I may build it or a modification of it.
ОтветитьGreat job. 😊
ОтветитьI was waiting for this video, thank you very much
ОтветитьThank you... very nice table..
Ответить👍👍
ОтветитьPretty lady thank you for the updates
ОтветитьThis is gorgeous. The table top (wormwood maple?) almost looks like marble. Amazing!! I wish I could convince my wife to let go of our current table :)
ОтветитьGreat job and beautiful table. Wood movement on indoor furniture is not that big of a deal because living spaces are climate controlled. The changes in relative humidity and temps are not that great indoors. I would estimate the most that a top that size would move is about 1/8 of an inch. That said, wood moves across the grain, so the tabs are more effective if you install them on the narrow sides and allow for that direction of movement.
ОтветитьI don't speak English but technically I understand you
ОтветитьOMG Girl your are so talented !
ОтветитьNeat.
ОтветитьAmazing all the time. God be with you and your family.
ОтветитьI discovered your channel by a happy accident. And now I want to try to build ALL the things. lol. I've never built a thing in my life. Wow, you're stuff is amazing and I can't stop watching your channel.
ОтветитьReally love your channel. It seems that fewer and fewer woodworking channels feature projects and I understand the reasons. I appreciate you sticking with the projects and providing all the great plans as that is why I, as an old guy woodworker who looks for "doable without high end equipment" projects, appreciate your channel. I am going to use this plan to build a table for a family member's home. Thanks again
Ответитьthis table is beautiful.
Do you think you'd be able to show us how to make a dining table that folds up against the wall?
I love this and it actually looks simple enough as I watch you building this table. I’m thinking about making a table with walnut and I hope to find a design that’s easy enough to not waste material. I loved this one!
ОтветитьWow!!! That’s really cool!! As luck would have it, we need a dining room table so I think this will be it!
Ответитьlove that design.
ОтветитьI’m new to woodworking and I can’t describe how fortunate I am to have found your channel. Your videos are amazing, inspiring, and easy to follow and understand. Thank you so much, you have touched my woodworking life.
ОтветитьGreat build. How thick were the table top and the legs?
ОтветитьMy brother has a dining with storage when you lift the head and rear part of the table. The dining table came with a bench with table. Is that something you can build? It doesn't need to be exactly like that but I thought it was cool to have a dining table or table in general with storage.
ОтветитьWow!
ОтветитьDefinitely an awesome dinner table! 100%! I am inspired to learn more about carpentry.
ОтветитьLove the table. Do you have plans for chair? I would like to surprise my son with this.
Ответить😊 nice design concept❤❤❤
ОтветитьThis is a beautiful table! I love your maple boards choice!
ОтветитьOky! Please please please respond!!! I’m wanting to make a fold down table but idk where to start. I want it to be able to hold 6 people, but able to attach it to the wall and fold it down when not in use. How would I go about this??
ОтветитьHow is the glue hold up on the table top? Is there any separation etc?
ОтветитьHi, do you think a plywood top table will last? Or will it bow?
Ответить
