Jay Slater missing person case could change after eerie new detail uncovered

Maybe that person who has anonymously posted two detailed explanations of what happened - the one who claimed to work with Lucy and Jay (and Brad?) at the rave selling drugs, was telling the truth.

S/He said that this was Jay's first time working with Lucy, and that Jay's phone had been tossed someplace off the mountain trail, to lead people away from where Jay really was, as Lucy was trying to figure out how to keep Jay safe until the GFM account raised the 30K pounds needed to repay the debt from the used and lost remaining drugs/ bag (that Jay had supposedly himself used, and then lost the bag/ money).

What a tangled mess of lies, semi-truths, and maybe even some truths. Still hope that Jay is found safe and as well as he can be.

Let me tell you something about the 'GPS' of a modern Mobile phone, it has a precision system that will still run after the Main battery dies, it is very easy from the correct authorisation to get Exact data on it's movements regardless of the [ Area ] it is located in!
There is definitely more to be uncovered but that will be determined if it's worth value to the right people, consider this, how on earth has it been concluded that the phone was 'Thrown'!?🤔😏
And to clarify, it's not just location it's also speed and inclination ie degrees of height that can be gained for the GPS!🤓

The phone should be within a small area, it's not that it pinged off a mast, they have it's actually location within a few meters. Maybe the police already have the phone and that's why more details are coming out, like about the stolen watch. The police will have access to his phone data anyway so if his friends have lied or kept certain things quiet they'll know by now it'll all come out. If they have the phone it should be with its owner, but maybe being disorientated through dehydration he dropped it and didn't realise. Or felt desperate and threw it in anger. We may never know.

The phone doesn't have to be thrown to have ended up on its own somewhere in that inaccessible area. The "thrown" bit implies someone else did that, as no kid is ever going to throw his own phone. But could he have leaned over the guard rail beside the road and for the phone to have fallen out, down the steep side of a ravine and be lost there? You'd never find a phone on its own. But was there just the one ping? That matters. One ping could mean phone died straight away, so possibly broke as it landed. But there will be loads of areas up there with no reception, so one ping could also mean phone was on the move into and out of reception. We're just not being given that detail. Without a precise map of reception, down to the sq metre level, which probably doesn't exist, you can't hope to find where that phone pinged from. 7% battery, which is what I think he last reported, could mean quite a lot of potential pings from that point in time, but nothing picked up if you were in radio shadow and no reception.

The idea that he was going to try to walk 11 hours back to his original hotel makes absolutely no sense unless he was completely unaware of how far the walk was. Why wouldn't he have simply asked for help from the guys he was staying with---they had a car, yes? Why wouldn't he have asked them for a phone charger? I suspect the men he was staying with at the Air B'n"B know more, and one of them is reported to be a convicted drug dealer. There are two scenarios---that he left the B'nB on foot, which is possible but would have been a crazy decision---or that he never left the place where he stayed at all. The only other possible scenario is that he left on foot and got picked up by somebody and there was foul play--but that is very unlikely.
