There's a better deck for food chain than prosh..... My deck is cazur and ukima it is cedh. It is a sultai color combo so you have blue instead of red which provides protection and access to the thossa combo if you want it you run eternal scourge and misthollow griffin with plenty of ways to tutor for it and ukima is the infinite damage outlet because when he leaves the battlefield you ping people. So you gain infinite manag through eternal scourge or whatever and then just win, the reason I think it's better is simply Mana cost, while you are worrying about playing prosh for six the first time I can tutor for and cast eternal scourge for as cheap as 4 Mana and again I have the best color for protection to keep my combo safe unlike prosh

I have a zur demonic consultation deck. I dont use doomsday. Play tainted pact or demonic consultation and then play either lab man, jace or thassas Oracle for the win

Watching this in 2020 is funny because of how many of these strategies have had what are effectively functional reprints for a lot of these expensive cards being talked about.

I've never played commander but it sounds like if you get even one tryhard in a game it can completely break the fun as their deck is provably loaded with infinite combos.

I am the only one who built a Ally Tribal from Tazri and not an actual combo deck????

That Turn 2 Prossh Food Chain combo wouldn't work. Food chain gives you X of the same colour of mana - so when you sacrifice your 5 CMC creature, you're getting 6 mana, but it's 6 of the same mana. Considering Proshh needs to cast for Black, Red, Green and three, you wouldn't be able to pay his entire cost with just six of the same colour of mana.
With this, I don't think a win on Turn 2 is possible.

My roommate and I have very similar Korvold decks, mine is built around infinite sacrifices with persist creatures and rhythm of the wild, melira, and grumgully, to sacrifice the same creatures over and over either to korvold or to free sack outlets like blasting station, altar of dementia and ashnod's altar. Then there a few ways to win with that infinite mana too like stonecoil serpent and recasting korvold until you draw into any other win cons

Yeah so all the top tier competitive edge decks are combo? I think I’m gonna stick with legacy because there are broken combo decks and interactive fun decks as well.
