Holy shit, this was beautiful. Rhodok crossbow supremacy for sure. The most relatable part was saving the village from bandits, just to turn and plunder them

I love the rhodoks

The biggest problem about Rhodoks is that spear infantry always feels a bit lacking, to me at least. I know how it is supposed to work against cavalry, by using the charging horseman's speed against them, but one they are in combat with infantry (or cavalry that is locked in close combat) their damage is reduced to near zero.

Rhodoks are fun with hardcore mods on, emphasizing defence and tactics. But native warband they are so boring. Only good for getting sharpshooters recruited to guard your castles.

The Rhodoks are an interesting combination of Scots and Northern Italy.

Ah yeah, unfortunately my pc stopped being able to run warband two years ago, or I may still be playing it as much as bannerlord. how developed some of the mods were really sold it to me

They're supposed to be master crossbowmen but I see a lot of missing

For me most terrifying in this game wasnt Swadian Knight or Nord Huscarl, neither situation in which I need to assault Khergit Castle under endless arrow rain.
It was humble Rhodok Sergeant with Glevia. Ready to decimate your end game character.

When I first played mount and blade I choose the green team and after 3 days of casually playing turned half of the map green as swadia was practically almost extinct and while that was happening rhodak was fighting 3 wars and somehow we managed to keep all 3 at stalemates

The bit in that video the really got me was either the part with the Nobel being de-horsed and saying help or the sound of you hitting metal when shooting in the siege. Both got me on the lols

I Allied with the rodoks in my first playthrough because Green is my favorite color, and chose randomly between making crossbowmen and sargents. And hell, i had a lot of fun.

To bad warband doesn’t have Bannerlord type battles. No idea why they didn’t implement everything from warband into Bannerlord. I miss the town drunk the feast and the courting of a lady by having to learn poems. Bannerlord is just so plain.

I'd still take a few Nord Huscarls over the Rhodok Sergeants in a siege, but other than that, Rhodok troops are excellent for keeping my Butter production protected.
