My very first car, bought it second hand in 1992. Rock solid and if anything went wrong high chance it was a CV joint. Thanks for bringing back some very good memories.

Has to be the neatest Brumby in Australia if not the world. There are 3 more of them on the road up here in Bilpin (the brumby capital of Australia) and one has only 124k one the clock, it is almost immaculate and is a genuine 1 owner survivor....

Intro was Top Gear quality. Such a impressive line up of Subaru halo cars. Ultra rare Svx in Yellow. Always had respect for these utes. Shame we never got the Baja here in Australia. That vehicle was way ahead of its time.

My dad’s first Subaru was a BRAT (I’m in the USA), and he basically only ever bought Subarus after that (and minivans, to fit the whole family of six for longer trips - for shorter trips I’d just lay down in the back of the station wagon).

I loved seeing that intro. So many incredible pieces of history. I grew up with computers, not posters, and many of those cars were the wallpaper of my computer growing up.

My brother still drives our grandpa’s Brat, and we have another we’d like to restore for me to drive as well. So many memories in those cars.

I hope you hid the Chopped logo somewhere on this thing. Beautiful restomod

My biggest complaint about this series is that it is not a restoration but a build. This Brumby was way to heavily modified for a restoration. Hopefully the future owner can afford the custom repairs.
