Porsche Macan is my pick, but I tell you what, that Genesis is looking REALLY nice design wise!!
ОтветитьI like the rdx
ОтветитьI have a 2016 MB GLC 300 and am starting to look for her replacement. She's been an amazing vehicle that has given me no trouble at all. I will probably just get another one, but am researching to see if something else catches my eye. Ty for your content
ОтветитьRDX
ОтветитьSq5 and macan gts here. Huge gap between them. Audi needs to improve the luxury part.
ОтветитьThe X3 with the 4cylinder turbo is best value in my opinion. It drives great and is very refined and luxurious. I have the. x drive and it’s a nice driving car. Wonderful SUV at a good price point.
ОтветитьI have had two model years of the Lincoln Nautilus, and they are a wonderful vehicle. Nothing goes wrong, and they tick all the boxes that most other luxury vehicles do, and a great value. You guys should check it out, but you seem to have a real preference towards anything not North American. That’s unfortunate!
ОтветитьAudi SQ5
ОтветитьI will pick Hyunday Kona or Kia Sorento . Great car .
ОтветитьI am debating between a 2024 Mazda cx5 sport design turbo, 2020 Acura RDX aspec, and the 2020 Lexus nx300 fsport 2. Which one is the best?
ОтветитьJust got an NX350h , it’s really nice, and not overly firm or bouncy
ОтветитьGenesis has the worst service ever, I mean the worst. DO NOT BUY ANY GENESIS. Selling my GV80 because of that...real shame.
ОтветитьWhy didn't you add Cadillac?
ОтветитьWhat about Cadillac?
ОтветитьThe problem I have with Volvo's Google based system and the X3 is the fact that you have yet another subscription to pay for. From my research, Volvo and BMW both support Apple Car Play which works for me. However, they don't mention Android Auto which my wife uses. Additionally, when I drove an X3 loaner (which I LOVED), after turning it it, I swore I would never own another BMW if I had to pay $80/year (at the time) just to USE the Apple Car Play feature of the system...what an absolute rip-off.
If the NX were a little bigger, that would probably be our choice to replace my wife's 17 yo RDX.
Lexus needs to fire their head of design
ОтветитьI love my 2024 GV70 with the Sports Prestige package. The only problem I’ve had, and it’s a big one, is when the phone is connected with a cord for Apple play you cannot have the volume above 20 due to the person you’re talking to hears their own voice as though they’re in an echo chamber.
At volume 20, you cannot hear your caller in the car (and I have great hearing), so you need to unplug your phone to listen to your call or messages. I hope this gets corrected soon!
Not car related…love your jacket…who makes it?
ОтветитьI really wanted the Genesis, but in my area it is by far the most expensive out of this group :(.
Ответить#1 pick (which I purchased), Genesis GV70 2.5T Sport Prestige. No can match the value/options/performance dollar for dollar.
ОтветитьThese "journalists" do not consider quality and reliability in their criteria. It is obvious that they have a bias for certain brands in their reviews.
ОтветитьWhere is Infiniti? I guess they don't rate high enough.
ОтветитьThank you both for this great unbiased review of luxury compact SUV's! After considerable research, my wife and I ordered a 2024 BMW X3. Although we are closing in on 70 y.o., we enjoy a "fun" driving car with a combination of spirit, class, and comfort. Our 2022 Mini Countryman has been a fun vehicle but now time for a little more comfort, safety, etc.
Genesis dealership in our area is a problem. Mercedes reliability and lack of sportiness is an issue for us. The Acura infotainment system is problematic in our minds and the Volvo while a great vehicle is owned by a Chinese company. Volvo Car Group is owned by Zhejiang Geely Holding of China. Not a big deal unless of course you have issues with oppressive communist governments. FWiW, I am not totally anti-China as I believe we are all part of a global economy that must get along to survive however how much we support those economies that could one day obliterate us should be in the back of everyone's minds.
FWIW......after driving the BMW X3 30i and 40i, we decided on the 30i because of ride comfort. The 40i has a much more firm ride than the 30i. We also found the power of the 30i more than adequate for all our driving needs and wants. Our Min Countryman S ALL 4 only has 189 HP. Our test drive in the X3 40i certainly puts you back in your seat however much more power than needed for getting onto highways, passing, etc.. The cost savings between the two engines is also significant.
Hi there! Curious to know why the Porsche Macan at any trim didn’t make this list? You both loved it in your reviews these past few years. Thanks.
ОтветитьDid Andrea just say exspecially?
ОтветитьTHANK YOU SO MUCH.
ОтветитьGenesis all the way !
ОтветитьGenesis u beauty
ОтветитьYou need to revisit your top picks after three years. It would be interesting to see how well each model held up and performed.
ОтветитьFake couple. UNSUBSCRIBE
ОтветитьI was wondering what car is the one you guys report from? Thanks
ОтветитьI like the look of the CRV to the RDX
ОтветитьWhere is the RX500 , that one is sweet
ОтветитьI do have a question. Usually people starts from 5,4,3,2,1 leaving the last one as number one but I done know which one was number 1 or 5. Can you tell me.
ОтветитьThat RDX dashboard design, looks like a sci fi B movie spaceship interior...😮😂
ОтветитьWhat's up with the Lexus grill design? Yikes! 😮😂
ОтветитьAnd I thought the economy here in the US was bad...no offense, but the Canadian dollar seems to be moving even faster, to becoming toilet paper...😢
ОтветитьWhat suv are you two in?
ОтветитьLexus NX350 H is superb especially in the Luxury edition.
ОтветитьAlways love Andrea’s smile !
ОтветитьLove how detailed (and honest) you describe the vehicles in your posts.
However, the one feature that I find missing is the type of fuel used, regular or premium gas.
Two cars getting the exact same gas mileage will have a very big money impact if one uses regular gas and the other premium. In the GTA, the difference is over $0.20 per liter. On a 70 liter gas tank, the difference can be $14 + per fill up and $350 + per year.
Keep your car for five years and that could be a difference of about $2,000.00 for premium gas over regular gas. Something to think about when purchasing a vehicle if you drive a lot.
a Toyota 2024 Sienna Platinum is between 62k - 65k in Southern California while a 2023 Yukon Denali can be found for 65k with 20k miles - go figure…
ОтветитьBased on your review of the new GLS I bought one. Loaded, traded in 19 A5 Sportback which was great but the Merc blows it away. So quiet smooth, handles quite well, the MBUX is great once the lighrt comes on. Saw pics of new X3, nah.
ОтветитьNo subaru?
ОтветитьGenesis for me is the best for me and best bang for your buck. The South Koreans will soon be the ones to beat.
ОтветитьI have an RDX and the track pad can be tricky compared to touch screens. However, i dont really use it at all outside of setting my initial vehicle settings. Once I fire up the car, my Android auto and Spotify kick on and theres no need to touch anything. For my nav directions, I use the voice control button on the steering wheel.
ОтветитьA quick recap of the list at the end would be nice.
ОтветитьJust picked up RDX Aspec….wonderful machine
ОтветитьVery well done and gaveme lots of info. I have never purchased a luxury SUV before. I am leaning towards the Genesis or the Acura, but would love to have found the Lexus fitting the bill. It doesn't. I have a 20 year old Lexus I am finally parting with, so I love Lexus, but the new ones are too small
