My phone screen is automatically black 😢

My child had dropped my phone and im using it after some hours and its completely black, i can hear the ringing when someone calls me but i cant see the screen

I was checking msg in my groups and it froze and switched of and yes my phone has been dropped in water but I kept in rice and it was back to normal

Would one of these methods work on my phone? I was playing an offline game on my phone then went on my car to go home, and then I got a weird glitchy screen that didn't look trustable and suddenly it turned off. When I charge it I can hear a sound, and when I try to force restart I can hear the sound of when the screen is supposed to turn on but it's not. Could it be that the screen itself is just not working or what?! I am actually terrified because if one of these methods don't work, it would be the 5th time my phone gets repaired :((

None of these have worked for me. My phone froze while browsing using Chrome. The touch screen wasn't responsive, so I turned the screen off with the power button. Tried the power button again to turn the screen on, and nothing. I have an s10e. it went black at about 65% battery. I long held the power button - nothing. Ive been repeatedly trying power button with vol down, power button with vol up, bixby and vol up and power button... nothing. I've held these repeatedly for different periods of time, from 15 seconds to over 5 min.
After about 10 min after it first went black, I opened up the back and disconnected the battery. I waited a few min, then connected the battery again. I then long held the power button to turn it back on. It did turn on briefly, and showed the boot screen for about 5 seconds, then went black again. Nothing since then. When I charge it, I can tell it's charging because that part of the phone gets warm. My laptop doesn't recognize the phone when I plug it in with the USB C cable. I don't know what could be going on that's making my phone different from the other commenters, who seem to all be having success. Any ideas would be appreciated!

I tried the charging the phone for 30 minutes method and it worked! My phone was on for about 5 minutes then it went back to pitch black 😭 I should've restarted it before getting all excited. I couldn't force restart at first because the power button didn't work for some reason. And now the method doesn't work for a second time. I have to use my phone in daily life to call my mom whenever I'm done with class. The problem is it costs A LOT to repair a broken phone and we're kinda saving money rn. Is there any other way to fix this? Like, another method that doesn't involve using the power button. Or maybe I'll try the let the battery die and charge method.

when it first had a flickering screen, my bag lasted for 1-2 days then it was black but it was charging because there is a green flickering that means it is charging.....btw I use my grandmother's cp

i also used forced restart with key buttons . it restarts alhamdulillah.

how do you fix it without the buttons, my phone is quite old and it just fell, triggering the blackscreen

the buttons are jammed, like all three . the best option i have is to get it fixed , but its expensive .
