Nixon's life was so tragic.
ОтветитьNo matter what offenses Richard Nixon did towards our country he did what was asked and required of him he was pardoned . He did not deserve to have a camera on him or in his face during his grieving during his wive's funeral . This was wrong on the medias side 😡 Richard Nixon should have been allowed to grieve for his wife in peace.
ОтветитьIts impressive how he held it together, the emotion on his face looks like he just wants to ball his eyes out curled up on the floor.
ОтветитьChildren were drawn to Mrs. Nixon because they respond instinctively to sincerity.
ОтветитьWho is the man wearing the red fez?
ОтветитьTerrible to see him suffering so much. Even the Reagans were distressed seeing the state of him.
ОтветитьI am completely confused that the British national anthem, God Save the Queen, was played during the service. Can anyone explain that?
ОтветитьSomeone should have hugged the poor man
Ответить🤣🤣🤣🤣
ОтветитьNot a big fan of Nixon’s presidency, however I do think he was a respectable politician and a good humoured man, it’s heartbreaking to see him looking this way, openly crying after the loss of his beloved wife
ОтветитьWhy are they playing the British national anthem?
ОтветитьDeath is just a transition for everyone.
ОтветитьDoes anyone know why they played the British national anthem while they brought out Mrs Nixon’s casket? I’m just wondering….
ОтветитьA wonderful First Lady, and one we will love forever.
ОтветитьPat Nixon was First Lady Of The United States Of America the year I was born 1974.

ОтветитьPat Nixon was a very quiet woman.
ОтветитьI was a Junior in high school when Pat Nixon died.
ОтветитьPat Nixon died the same year my grandpa Harry died 1993.
ОтветитьPresident Nixon was a great President of United States of America 🇺🇸
He negotiated with Red 🇨🇳 to have political friendship and bring China 🇨🇳 to United Nations membership
Due to water gate issue he was out from Presidency
Sarath Dassanaike
And the following year, President Nixon died... of a broken heart... 😢😢
Ответитьohhh poor man-breaks my heart....
ОтветитьThe prick never shed a single tear for the thousands of young men and women who were killed long before their time in Vietnam...
ОтветитьI'm just about a quarter of the way through Conrad Black's biography of Richard Nixon. From errand boy to the highest office of that land, and without the vast wealth associated with some other presidents and the cronyism and leg ups that goes with it. The western world owes Richard Nixon a debt.
ОтветитьVery sad. Nixon was a complex, sometimes dark, brilliant man. Clearly adored his wife.
ОтветитьRest in peace Mrs Nixon.
ОтветитьWithin a year of his wife passing we lost Jackie Kennedy and Richard Nixon to
ОтветитьI felt so sorry when President Nixon lost his beloved wife Buddy , She was very good looking and loved Dick. When President Nixon wept during the service I shed a tear it was so sad. I think President Nixon died of a broken heart when he lost his dear wife. God Bless you both 🙏🙏🙏
ОтветитьWhile in Whittier, Pat Ryan met Richard Nixon, a young lawyer who had recently graduated from the Duke University School of Law. The two became acquainted at a Little Theater group when they were cast together in The Dark Tower.[6] Known as Dick, he asked Pat to marry him the first night they went out. "I thought he was nuts or something!" she recalled.[17] He courted the redhead he called his "wild Irish Gypsy" for two years,[18] even driving her to and from her dates with other men.[7]
They eventually married on June 21, 1940, at the Mission Inn in Riverside, California.[19] She said that she had been attracted to the young Nixon because he "was going places, he was vital and ambitious ... he was always doing things".[7] Later, referring to Richard Nixon, she said, "Oh but you just don't realize how much fun he is! He's just so much fun!"[20] Following a brief honeymoon in Mexico, the two lived in a small apartment in Whittier
basically he liked her more than she liked him
Why did they play "God Save The Queen" ??
ОтветитьYou have to remember that he met Pat in the 1930's and married her in 1940, meaning he spent over half a century with her in his life.
ОтветитьThat's true it really happened in the Bible before Jesus was crucified.Billy Graham was truly an inspiration to us all
ОтветитьYou could see that President Reagan was beginning to suffer from Alzheimer’s, as he looked very confused.
Truly sad.
Carter, Bush, and Clinton did not attend her funeral. They were all busy doing other events.
ОтветитьThis is so sad. RIP

this is the side of Richard Nixon we never got to see. we never really got to see much of the vulnerable, emotional part of him. seeing him cry as he walks to joint the crowd broke my heart - i know Pat’s death destroyed him, and he joined her in heaven not long after this.
what a beautiful first couple they were. bless the Nixons.
No matter how anyone felt about this man how could you not feel anything but compassion for anyone so grief stricken.
