I'll upgrade my 3 outdoor U6 mesh units to U7 outdoor if the speeds good enough.

Also probably replace U7 pro with U7 pro max as the speeds are not great :/ barely ever see 1gbps on that.

Not gonna lie. I was excited about the U7 Pro Wall, especially since it had a table stand addon, until I saw that it didn't have any ports like the U6 In-wall. Do we really need a table stand addon for something that can't be also used as a desktop switch? Can we get one for the U6 where it makes more sense to have one?

WiFi 7 320 MHz channels will max out a 2.5Gbps uplink. 2.5 Gbps uplink will curtail and diminish the performance to much less than the maximum WiFi 7 speeds. Where are the APs (and unifi PoE+ switches) with 5/10 Gbps ?

It would be great to have a freestanding AP with output ports.

$279 for only 4x4 MIMO, no bluetooth and a lowly 2.5Gb port? No thanks!!!!!! Quite the ripoff. Knew this was going to be the case with he introduction of the U7 Pro which has abysmal specs at a terribly high price point.

Why limited to 2.5G uplink? I’d buy if it was 10G, WiFi 7 supports up to theoretically 46G and when you have a 10G wired network to not get the uplink to match makes it a non starter, why I haven’t been able to fully migrate to your products…

Do any of these new APs have Bluetooth so as to work with unifi protect sensors ?

fml, just upgraded all my campground AP with U6 Mesh this spring... Was holding off until last minute, i knew something new was coming.

@ubiquiti can we please have faster ports on the APs? It doesn’t make any sense having multiple Gigs of wireless throughput if the backbone connection to the rest of the network is only 1Gbe. I can do multigig laptop to laptop transfer, but back to NAS is only going to be gigabit at max.

I like that the intro shows that I can turn my rack into a Cylon. Could be handy in the coming AI apocalypse

I don't feel like this video really captured the magnitude of power of this god-level Wi-Fi access point. I think it needs more explosions, sci-fi effects, and THX theater bass sweeps.

2x 10/25 sfp + 4 2.5 && 4x 10/25 sfp + 4-8 2.5 , poe is vastly overrated for most people. and if you want that you already make that and can just uplink. 4 sfp ports and 2.5 > all that. some of us have 8g fiber with a nas and a firewall and need more than 2 sfps's

Ewww. I was really waiting on the U7 In Wall because I thought it had a chance of having at least one 2.5gb output built into it unlike the U6 In Wall Enterprise. Now to see it released and you completely did away with the built in switch part? Terrible. And almost as bad, you move the input from behind to below it?? WTF Ubiquiti

I ordered them before reading the specs and realizing the U6 enterprise is a better AP and has more antennas and faster speeds across the board UNLESS you have Wifi 7 , which none of my devices have yet. So it didnt make sense.

Why doesn't the U7 Pro Max use your universal mount kit? I thought that was the whole point of the universal mounting. So that you didn't have to drill new holes every time you updated.

Why oh why can't Ubiquiti come up with product naming that isn't trying to just copy Apple? Seriously, the (Ultra, Pro and Max) names mean absolutely nothing, but all the UniFi fanboys will treat it like it is the gold standard. Good products, asinine product names.

I am stoked for the outdoor. The directional APs have been amazing in our warehouses, and the mesh was getting long in the tooth. We have a warehouse expansion coming up. Definitely will be using the outdoor for that project.

And no painting tools for the U7ProWall in the accessoires section of your shop ? :)

Is this going to run cooler than the U7 Pro? - the temperature that runs at makes me real nervous and I've got fanless 10Gbe switches....
