Just a quick tip you can pull boats with leads so if you need to move a turtle in a boat fence off the path, put it in a boat and pull the boat with the lead

He does realize that wooden tools are multitasking instruments, right? I mean, if you're done with a wooden pick you can chuck it in a furnace for fuel. The same goes for all wooden items such as buttons & swords. On the other hand, a wooden pick can mine a total of 60 blocks. If you go 30 stone and 30coal you'll have enough for a stone pick, 3 furnaces, and either a stone axe or 3 smooth stone (which is enough for a blast furnace). The coal is enough for a full stack of torches with 14 leftover for whatever else.
